Hi llx8000,
If I purchase my Q4 on videogamesnewyork, arcadeshock, or focus attack, do I contact the US seller or Qanba if I have any problems with the stick?
I also read through the thread and noticed that most problems can be diagnosed by having us remove the bottom plate and sending you pictures of the inside. Does that mean we will still have warranty if we open the stick and remove the sticker on the bottom? Because I would like to change the artwork, but was going to wait a while since I didn’t want to void the warranty.
I just found out today I am moving to China in February. Of course, my first concern is how am I going to play my beloved fighting games. I will most likely take my 360 but I don’t think I can justify taking a joystick as suitcase space will be sparse.
LA!
Where can I buy a Qanba in China and what sort of price (in Chinese money) should I expect to pay for one? Money will be tight so the cheapest Sanwa or moddable one will do, nothing fancy.
Hey lx8000 for some reason I can’t pm you but can you email
Me how to fix the echo headset issue for my Q4. I love the stick to death and just want it to work for all my other friends who play other games we can still speak my email is isaacin308@msn.com. Thank you for your time
You guys offer a stick bag and a DIY wood case now?? its over Hori and Madcatz quit while your ahead its over the Chinese are here and they do it better and cheaper
i just got mine from focusattack the other day, and i’m actually inclined to agree. the q4raf is built well, feels heavy and dense, and is comparable to the build of a hori or a madcatz, with dual console support @ $150. there may be very small instances where the q4raf doesn’t hold up as well but i haven’t found it. this guy has ursurped my TE as my everyday stick, i’ve just felt it more comfortable to play on.
some people complain about start button location, but i have yet to hit it on accident, and i’m not even all that good.
Woulda mad catz courier bag be able to house a q4raf? The bag looks way more comfy to wear but I am getting a qanba. They are roughly the same size, but I fear the stick placement is slightly different making it a bag just for mad cat a products.
our reseller in USA give you the warranty.
we supply some replace parts to them.
simple problem you can solve yourself.
sometimes player replace plexi wire wrong, only rewire.
For anyone interested in modding this stick below is the PCB. Cool design, its two PCBs stacked ontop of each other.
Seems like there are a lot of accessible solder points.
The wire harness going from the button to the lights is very short though and crosses over the back of nearly all the buttons making access harder. I think the design could do with having this cable (the white bunch below) lengthed and moved around the buttons rather than over the top of them.
I’ve had this stick since june 9th, and I have been very pleased with the stick. Until now that is…
When playing Mortal Kombat and 3rd Strike OE the LT button is constantly pressed. I’ve tried to disconnect the button to check if it was broken but it still showed that LT was pressed, So it’s not the button.
I’m wondering if this is a problem other people have experienced and if there is something I can do?
Im a little late to the party on getting a qanba stick, but I really want to get a q3 (360) since its wooden. any places besides play asia carry this one? im in the us
