I have a Q4 for PS3/PC and it works just fine with Windows 7 while playing vanilla SF4 or AE. Q3 works perfectly too.

On another note, does anyone know what kind of top panel the limited edition red Q4 (clear sanwa buttons) has? Plexi or the same as regular Q4?

Thinking of picking up one of these Q4s, I’m used to playing a TE, and I noticed earlier in this thread that there was some discussion about the difference in stick height, is this still the case with the Q4?

Also is the button and stick spacing the same? The buttons on the Q4 look closer to the stick to me, but it might just be a slight optical illusion becuase of the Q4s artwork.

They are square gates by default AFAIK. You are confusing what you are hearing with what you should be feeling. If you roll the joystick around at it’s full extension then you will know what gate it has by the pattern it makes. Or you could just open it up and have a quick look.

Although I love my Q3, I’ve been having an issue with it for the last week or so and now it’s becoming a real pain in the ass. Basically, two directions on my stick aren’t registering properly. Both right and down are only registering intermittently, flickering on and off as it pleases. The only solution is to jam the stick right into the corner of the gate, but in practical terms that’s not a real solution at all.

I’ve recorded a video showing the problem because I always come prepared like that.

I think it’s a PCB issue, but I can’t say for sure. Help please?
