I’ve got a question:
Does the Q3 work wired without plugging the receiver? In other words, can the USB connection be used for actual wired connectivity and not just to recharge the battery?
Had a chance to check out the wired sticks yesterday at BattleField Arcadia, thanks to Shangee, and they are are wicked solid sticks. Haven’t had a chance for a quick hands-on, since casuals had already started but I did catch a few guys try them out with very positive results (including Sanford).
They are very nice and heavy, around 9ish pounds, very nice and big so it neither slides around nor does your hand come off of it. Very custom looking sticks as well.
Thanks for the chance to check them out Sheng. Let me clean house first as I currently have 3 sticks with a 4th on the way. Really like the way the Black Devil looks and feels. Might as well add it to my collection.
I’d certainly recommend these to anyone looking for a tournament level stick.

Can someone please definitively answer whether the shaft length is any longer on the Q3 than it is on the Q2?
As I and other people have already said, the length of hori/madcatz shafts can already be a bit too small for some peoples hands - any smaller could pose a real problem. I suppose I could always grab an extender from eTokki.com (http://www.etokki.com/MiscParts/JLF%20Shaft%20Extender), but regardless I’d like to know!

Shengee, is there anywhere else I can purchase a Q3 from other than Ahcart? I’ve really fallen for the way this stick looks - but $110 shipping to where is live (Western Australia) is a bit too high.
Q3 is compatible with PS3. and it is up to which version of PS3 you are having to play PS2 games. I believe only the 40g version supports PS2 games. Nothing to do with the stick, bro.

Q3 USB only used to recharged the battery. Q3 cann’t used wired.
