Okay, so I’ve tried TWO audio adapters without any sort of success now, on my Q4. Both are 3.5mm male to 2.5mm female audio adapters. One is Stereo in both directions, while the other is Mono.
I am using a Turtle Beach X31 wireless headset, using their standard 2.5mm Xbox microphone cable. I have two of these cables as well, but neither work.
The microphone works perfectly on a standard controller, and even works when I plug it into my other arcade stick which has no buttons or joystick in it.
Using the ipod headphones/microphone that comes with the Q4, I am able to speak to and hear other people, but the sound quality is very low, there is feedback and echoing when others are talking, and they are basically unusable considering you have to hold the microphone up to your mouth to make it activate.
Is there ANY way I can fix this? It’s really frustrating.
EDIT: Re-read through the past few pages… sounds like I need to rewire something inside. Can I get a graph or explanation of what to do?

What country are you in? In the UK I got mine from gremlinsolutions.
They have a Sanwa JLF and 8 Sanwa OBSF-30’s. The 24mm button in a knockoff copy.
Focus Attack (focusattack.com) has a pre-order page for the second shipment. Play-Asia (play-asia.com) also sells them, but expect to pay a lot for shipping due to the size and weight of the stick being shipped internationally. They have Sanwa parts for all the buttons except for the Start button.
