regarding the “so many issues”:
sure, some people have issues with the sticks. but you’ve got an “official” thread where everyone with issues can directly speak to the stick company. so naturally, you will get a false impression of the overall percentage of the sticks that have issues. i am pretty sure that madcatz TEs and hori RAPs don’t have significantly fewer problems.
This is a quality product. The problem with mine disconnecting is the USB wire 5-pin connector isn’t crimped well to the wire. I brought this up to llx via PM and he agreed to send me a brand new USB wire free of charge. This is quite the nice service. For now it is fixed with a little black electrical tape and it hasn’t done the disconnect since. It is my favorite stick over my two TE’s.
I’ll be getting a Q4RAF from Play Asia when I sell my Xbox and I really hope I don’t have any problems aside from Mic which I couldn’t care less about.
Anything harder than shoving a CPU in a Motherboard? I stray away.
I wouldn’t care if a quick disconnect was loose and the button didn’t work properly, that’s easy.
Just, please don’t muck up the soldering part because I won’t be fixing it.
I have to agree! this is a quality stick. Feels good, plays well and is definitely easy to mod! Plus plays on different platforms! What’s not to like?
sure the mic has some issues but that isn’t a reason not to get this stick. I’ve got a Hori Rap VX SE and that one feels like a toy compared to the Qanba!
Do yourself a favor and grab this stick while you can(pun intended

our white earphone plug order diffrent XBox headphone plug order,so when player used xbox headphone need change headphone jack wire order,after changed headphone jack order,add a 3.5mm male to 2.5mm female stereo headphone adapter to xbox headphone,will have no eachos on XBL.

had a few questions regarding my qanba. let me start off by first stating that i love the stick. All my friends who play on TE really liek it, and a few of them are planning on picking one up of there own.
Now i was playing on it yesterday, and i noticed some things that havent happened before. The set up i was playing on was a slim ps3, playing sf4 AE, and my friend had a TE that was tri modded connected to the ps3 as well as my stick.
Twice while i was playting with the qanba all the buttons and joysticks movements stopped working in game, the LEDs at the top of the qanba were all blinking. Now if i went to the home menu on ps3 i could use the stick directions and any buttons i wanted to. In order for the game to pick up the commands again i had to unplug the stick and re connect it.
This never happened while i was playing, nor has it never happened when i play at home on my own set up. So im not %100 on what might have caused this
Also i have noticed from the first day i got the qanba that while im on my ps3 some times the LED at the top of the stick is red, other times its blue and the 1 player slot is on as is a number 4 to the left of the 1 LED light. Not sure what that means either.
if someone has any tips on what might be going on please let me know

I have pre-ordered one of these in the UK, has the echo problem been fixed or do I need to request the wiring diagram to fix it (again, can this not be added to the original post?)?
