Out of curiosity, the plexi for the Q4 that I see some places sell, is that a custom made plexi or is it something that Qanba actually makes and sells(distributes)??

So, first time posting in SRK since the new forums:

Regarding the Qanba Q4RAF. Is anywhere EU, or more specifically UK stocking this? I’d love to suggest llx8000 contacts the guys at Gremlin Solutions to stock it, because it’d certainly be popular with the London, Manchester & Birmingham scene, but we’ve no way of getting them into the country right now, without at least being hit with a huge bill for customs when we try to get it.

In short; I’d love to buy one, and I’m sure you’d sell several more, if only I could!

I’m moments away from receiving my Q4RAF the item is currently out for delivery. I am very excited and I certainly hope mine does not have any issues however.

How about your company builds a correct adapter and mails it to us… Call it even for sending us a faulty mic port… I smell a lawsuit.

I got my Q4 2in1 today from Play-asia. 4 day delivery to australia - fantastic.
I’m a little disappointed though - I was expecting to become an expert at SFIV upon delivery. Can’t you package that in as well llx8000?
Seriously this is a great stick. I’m very happy with it.
I’m now doing some pre ordering from focus attack to get flexiglass plate and some new buttons?

So here’s the deal… As a casual fighter player, I was looking to take the plunge and get a “solid” stick setup… I heavily researched, spoke with people about my choices and came to the conclusion the Qanba Q3 for 360 was my stick… The reviews told me how solid the q3/q4 are and if I was able to get ahold of a q3, I wouldn’t be disappointed. MDF case, sanwa parts, xbox live mic port, and a beautiful design.

So I went forward into my journey to find out play-asia had one q3 left. I immediately went ahead and paid the outrageous 62 shipping and confirmed my order. I was stoked to catch one of the last q3s online at the time… Everyone made me believe I was lucky!

In the four days it took the stick to get to my house, countless posts started coming in about echo problems on the q3 and q4 models; I was convinced my q3 wouldn’t have this problem.

So my q3 arrives and I’m beyond happy. Took pictures of it while it was fresh and sent them to my friends like the nerds we are.

After all of the hype and unboxing joy, I took it to my gameroom and booted up my xbox. The controller blinked at me and I was ready to go. My home screen boots up and I get a party invite to test this new badass out, but something goes wrong… The port is 3.5mm and my mic is 2.5… No worries, I’ll use the headphones that came with the Qanba and hit up radioshack in the morning… I proceed to unpackage the iPhone replica headphones and plug them in. My friend says it’s about time and his voice is followed by endless amounts of echo until I finally had to remove the mic from the port… The next morning, I head to radioshack with my head held high, buy my 3.5-2.5 and go home to the same problem… Now I’m frustrated… I hit up this thread and every other place on the Internet to find llx sending out emails of a “fix”. I PM him and he emails me a picture of the apparent fix… The picture wants me to buy a new 3.5-2.5, cut it in half, and reverse the wires… Leaving me with a cord that will obviously be riddled with a ball of electrical tape and not even guaranteeing me a fix. He even went so far as wanting me to let him know if the cord mod worked, like it’s my job to pay and attempt to fix something that isn’t guaranteed to work…

I completely believe that Qanba either refund us for the product we were told, or issue us this reversed cable at little to no charge… I am scared to death to try and issue a refund from play-asia in fear that somehow, I won’t be refunded… Hell, my card was cancelled by my bank and I had to go through authorizations just to get it working again after I ordered the product…

Beyond this, I love the Q3… But the reason I purchased a finished stick is because I want an arcade feel without he risk of making my own mistakes during the build, and what I received, is not what I ordered. I need a working port.

Hey guys I have a question.
Can someone please confirm if the Qanba Q2 (golden black version) comes with a plexiglass?

I know the normal Q2 comes with a plexiglass cause i can see it in the pictures but this one I’m not sure. I really like the colors of the joystick and buttons better but if it doesn’t come with a plexiglass I probably won’t buy it. Can anyone please tell me?There’s not a lot of information about the Q2s.Thank you.

I absolutely love this stick! I havent had ANY problems with it since I got it. I had it for a good 4 weeks now. I got a PS3, the Alberta Beatdown Tournament had Xbox 360s. All it needed was to flip the switch. Thank you for making a product that rivals, if not beats the Madcatz TE sticks!

So what’s up with the Q4RAF Headphone/mic problem? is there a fix? I don’t want a refund, it would just be cool if it worked.

It isnt really a problem rather than just being different. The common size for mic jacks is 2.5 but the Q4
s is 3.5 so the options are use the mic included or buy a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter which only cost me $4 w/shipping.

also, i’m having a problem with the stick randomly disconnecting from my xbox 360. only for about 3 seconds.
