Are you able to get a Q3 EMP for the PS3? If so then PM me price shipped & ETA, thx! Also, if pre-ordere the Q4, will you charge me ASAP or only when it ships? Thx!
I hear ya - parts business isn’t a rich man’s game, either. lol
Right now, I’m only getting the Q4RAF. The preorders are charged immediately because the shipping date is longer than the allowed 30 day authorization date for both credit cards and PayPal.
Ok, thx for the info!
any new info on the Q4RAF?
Went to Qanba.com, I can’t have the english pages under Firefox 3.6
Is the Qanba Q3 case made of lacquered wood ? I love it, probably my favourite out of all retail sticks
I spoke to my supplier about the LEDs shown in the sample video. He asked Lee of Qanba about it, and got this response:
*"…because lots gamers don’t like Q4 with LED and remote.
in the future ?we maybe use other LED Solution ,and LED Solution will build Q4 special version."*
So there you have it. I’m guessing that the unit provided in the video was a prototype. That said, I’m still awaiting more spec information to place on my website:
Thank you, sir. I went ahead and pre-ordered. =]
Saw that there. Thanks! I’ll have about 30 sticks available for those that want one. It’s certainly looking to be the definitive Qanba joystick.
The Q4 have a plexi? I see in some pictures with plexi and in others only plastic

How is the construction of this stick compared to the hori RAP V3 SA? (my actual stick), the V3 SA is a bit weaker in construction (plastic used) in my opinion
Sorry for my english
Thanks
It’s hard to tell when nobody has actually gotten their hands on a Q4 since it’s not officially out yet.
Plus we cannot compare the case with the Q2, Q3 or even the Empire Arcadia edition since all those cases are construced out of Wood.
To be honest, I found nothing wrong with the hrap v series except for the stock graphic and the weight.
In for a Q4RAF! Can’t wait …stick looks sick, thanks FocusAttack
Price, style, build quality and features like that oh so useful handle with classic Vewlix style for 150$? Tri-console? I can only hope the PCB doesn’t fail on me. In for a Dark Hai meshtop too, think it’ll match nicer than the standard white.
Glad to provide it, and it looks like we may sell out before the store reopens next week. 9 of 30 are left for pre-order, so if you were on the fence about getting one, you may want to hop off it. That said, however, I believe that when my supplier can get more, I will have more of the Q4RAF available.
As SwifT mentioned, the classic-style Sanwa meshball is available for pre-order as well. This is the tighter pattern meshball which existed only in the first run, not the more recent version. You can check out a preview here. Once I have them in stock, I’ll take photos of the other colors.
Thanks for the support!
Pre-ordered the Q4 earlier today. Can’t wait to get it. :3
Also, I’m assuming this thing is wired? I couldn’t find anywhere that specifically said that it’s a wired stick, but I figured it had to be since it works with both 360 and PS3. If anyone could let me know for sure, it would be appreciated.
Being triple compatible would point towards the Q4 being a wired stick.
For the Qanba RAF3 (PS3), would the ps-14-kn (30mm screw-ins) fit in this stick or only the snap-ins? The stick originally comes with OBSF-30 snap-ins
Screw-ins fit in all styles of panels.
^Truth.
The only thing that doesn’t fit the RAF3 are button hole plugs(lol). Sanwa specifically since the clips are placed to high, and the plexi-glass of the RAF3 is so thick, they will never “snap in”.
Qanba RAF4 Preorders at Focusattack.com
Hey all,
Just wanted to mention that pre-orders for the Qanba Q4RAF XB360/PS3/PC joystick are extended to 45 units, or an additional 15. The original 30 pre-orders already sold out.
I actually put my hands on it a while ago (february if i m not mistaken) and the stick is massive. I really like it as much as i like their other products. About the plexi…if i remember correctly it doesnt have one, it`s just a metal (or sth like that) panel. The feeling is more or less like the other qanbas so arcade perfect. I didnt test it on any console just hold it with my own hands…and well…if you have money to spend on a stick, this is definitely the way to go!
I told them to put on it a plexi cause lots of ppl like to made their own art…dunno if now it has, back then it didnt.
Thanks for the response
