Well just knock it off with that “other system” bull shit. It’s the kind of shit that gets fights started. Just call it the Xbox or don’t bring it up. Also Microsoft does give a shit cuz they fix that issue for FREE. Sony wanted 170 bucks for their fuck up. Both systems are great and have a lot to offer. You’re missing out if your avoiding one or the other cuz its the dreaded “other system.” Shits so dumb.
Been playing FFXIII. Game kinda gets interesting when you start getting more stacked ATB gauges and more abilities to choose from. Still don’t understand how everything works though and this constant shuffling control between multiple people is really fucking annoying. The info dumb in the begining is a major turn off to. I really have no idea WTF is going on in the story. Combats fun though.
Yes, I brought this up before and just got called a whiny bitch for it.
It’s fucking dumb, if you want to be taken seriously, do not call it the other system, 3shitty or anything else like that. We’ll just end up creating more drama about it, ultimately resulting again in a repeat of the previous incident. If you can’t do that, don’t post.
Yeah I work at a mom and pop shop where we do repairs and we’ve constantly been getting calls about PS3 problems now. If we can end up fixing it, depending on how much it costs to fix it ends up costing anywhere from $40 to $70. If it ends up breaking again relatively fast, we’ll try to fix it again free of charge and then if that doesn’t work we give you trade for it (we take it as parts) towards a new/used system. We did this with the PS2 (goddamn we probably have 50 PS2s with dead lasers in storage), we also do this with the 360 if it’s out of warranty.
Oh Christ. Too much goodness. First I get GOW3 for a little less than in stores (release date shipping) and get a 10 buck credit to use toward SSFIV. Now I’m going to do the same with SSFIV, and get costumes AND another 10 buck credit, that I’ll be able to use on amazon, which has cheaper games than in stores.
I love Amazon. Whatever the fuck the main dude makes a year, he deserves it.
I was just calling the 360 that cuz like a week ago, somebody here said we weren’t allowed to mention it by name, so people started dancing around the name. I first started with “That which must not be named”, but that sounded too much like the dark god Nodens (whose name you are never supposed to say aloud) from the Brian Keene novels, so I called it…you know.
IMO the reason why it stirs up so much controversy and why Sep got banned is cause people are being butt hurt nerds about it. Like really who cares what it’s called? I thought it was dumb that Sep kept on calling it that but I ignored it cause it aint a big fucking deal. But like I said, butt hurt nerds and it causes all kinds of problems because of it.
But back to gaming. I haven’t played a ps3 game in so long cause Okami takes too long to finish X_X.
Well, last weekend my house burned down so I’m completely PS3-less right now, however I purchased Valkyria Chronicles this weekend and am planning on getting SSF4 when it comes out to prep for a new PS3. I lost an 80GB Motorstorm bundle PS3, among other things such as my HDTV, but my PS3 games, and the few Blu-Ray movies I have, seem to have made it out without any damage other than the cases. I want to ask, is there a way I can transfer all of my trophy and account data over somehow by entering my account information to a slim PS3, whenever I get one? I know anything on the hard drive itself is not coming back, but I mean if I enter my account info in (Password and such) will I get my entire friends list back as well as my trophy data at least?
…which is a large part of why I still have a Crystal-Chipped PS2 Slim.
That and, y’know - the approximately 30 other games I have on it that are simply too good to let go of.
It’s amazing though - I always looked at the PS3 as having a small library of quality games, but now I look at my PS2 library, and see it has been eclipsed in number of titles by my PS3 one.
I don’t know how Amazon does it, and don’t care. Double good being in California not paying the 9% sales tax, until Ca finds a way of collecting it.
I have $10 from Monster Hunter Tri, $10 when SSFIV gets shipped and then I’m applying that to 3D Dot Game Heroes and getting it for $17 release date delivered.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to buy it, but I remember how it felt when I bought SNES Link To The Past and used my cousin’s SNES while mine was on Lay-Away at Circuit City.
Sucks to hear that man. But yes, when you get another PS3 it asks if you want to use an exisitng PSN email addy/password when you first try to sign up. You’ll get your friends list & trophies back. So long as you didn’t gameshare away any DLC you may have purchased, you can also download it again for free from Account Management/Download History.
same here, I’ve been slowly moving toward using amazon as my main source of games and movies, if they did release date shipping here in Hawaii I probably already would be. I’m getting a $10 credit plus dlc for SSF4 (and once that arrives I’ll return it to the store where I got my current copy lol), gonna get $10 for monster hunter tri, and I think $20 game credit when my mario galaxy 2 ships. AND the prices are normally a few dollars cheaper, amazon rocks.
Okami is a retardedly long game. my machine yellow lighted and i’m not starting it again. you play for like 15-20 hours, and you beat this boss, and you’re like “that was a pretty good game, i enj…” and then the game tells you “and the story is just beginning.” and it is not kidding at all.
