ive been hyping it for some months now, especially the last few weeks since it got introduced. i actually wanted to buy it today, started up the tripple and saw shit wasnt released yet (not even in jpn, and they half a day ahead).
Yeah that trailer shows you the core gameplay, it’s enough to hype up anyone.
If I am not mistaken, Sony is changing the date of their store updates. So we don’t have to go through this BS in the future.

No, you have to play your PSP games on your PSP.
Minis work on both though.
Nah, it would would be cool if it worked like that though. Only the psOne games can be played like that on ps3 and psp.

There’s no reason for Sony to create a condition that would make people STOP buying PSPs.
EDIT: You know, I don’t think Sony is against it per say. I think a method for proving you have a PSP (signed into your PSN account at the same time as your PS3) would let you play PSP games on your PS3.
Infamous vs. ModNation Racers - GameSpot just released a video showing the guys from Sucker Punch creating an Infamous-themed level & kart on MNR (odd, since it’s two games from two different companies). Definitely the best MNR video I’ve seen so far; I’m hoping the track is downloadable on the PSN.
nobody would stop buying PSPs, the fact is people buy PSPs but don’t buy PSP games because it’s a great piece of technology and it’s easy to hack. PS3 with PSP game support would only be a beneficial thing since PS3 can’t be hacked to play pirated games and it offers enough of a different experience to entice people into buying PSP games for their PS3.
That’s pretty tight. It’s not like Empire City is the most distincitve setting in the world, but that was a pretty good visual representation of it.
The beta didn’t win me over but more tracks like that might change my mind.
Have the 3000’s or Go’s been properly hacked yet? I haven’t been following PSP news… I still have M33 firmware running on my slim lol
in japan psp and the games do sell together. over here people just buy it to hack it. i brought like 60 psp games because it looks nice on my shelf.
I’m not sure. everybody i know has an older hacked psp and the 3000 and go models have suffered a sales slump so the majority are older consoles and nobody with those buy games for the psp. having ps3 with psp integration might entice people with hacked psps to buy games. and if you use a PSP strictly legally then you probably are committed enough to the console to not dump it in favor of playing only on ps3.
yes that’s true and handheld gaming is so prevalent and popular there that i don’t think japs would be dropping their psps to play games strictly on ps3. in fact it might have the opposite effect where they would buy PS3s so they could play their psp games when they’re home.

Heh I’m one of those lamers who actually buys games for my big fat PSP. I just bought VP: Lenneth, Wipeout Pure, Wipeout Pulse and Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles.
