Some of the Trophies were added from the DLC. Despite them being added, to get a Platinum on a game you only need to get the ones that came when it originally came out.
I don’t understand people who would spend money period (whether buying or renting) on games they would otherwise have no business with just for the trophies/achievements. Like Avatar the Last Airbender. But hey, its their money, ain’t gonna knock it. Just doesn’t make sense to me is all.
You can’t blame them if they got Avatar the Game for $10.

I confirmed this with my last 2 plats. It’s kinda interesting that they chose to make them do nothing. I guess it’s up to the developer to do cool stuff with their plats, but nobody ever does. Except in God of War 3 - the platinum details give some info about a website:

actually sep were wrong and you confirmed wrong. i notice it and it is pretty clear when it happens because of my level.
at level 15, bronze trophies give almost no gain in percentages, you need something like 7-8 bronze trophies to raise your score 1%…ONE percent.
well since i was skeptical about seps claim. i left a platinum to be achieve with only ONE bronze. so i only had one bronze trophy to get and it would give me bronze as well. after i got the bronze and the platinum my score went up 4%. so ya, a bronze a level 15 will no way in hell give you 4%. im just saying. so plats are worth a lot. ive tested it twice, once with heavy rain and once with bioshock 2.

you have to d/l the patch immediately after you start a new game in order to play either ballad or lost otherwise you won’t be able to play either.
Well in GoW3 and Dante’s Inferno one was 9% (gold value) and one was 1% (bronze value) of the value left to get my platinum. Perhaps it affects your overall level (I still don’t understand how that works), but the platinums themselves, within the % values per trophy of each game, have a zero value. I’ve also worked this out with my Batman Arkham Asylum trophies (I only have a few left to get, and they worked out to add up to 100% excluding the platinum). That is what I meant when I said I confirmed them to be zero-valued, not that they don’t affect your total trophy level or gamerscore or whatever it’s referred to.

Looks like I have to earn more Golds and Platinums then if I want to level to 14, since Bronzes and Silvers are pretty much worthless percentage-wise.
It’s really good. It’s a grinding/stat RPG. The story is fun. You can stop after it’s over and feel like you got your worth out of it.
You can pursue the epiloge and the DLC quests and have fun with that, but you need to find satisfaction in grinding for that to be worth your time.
I found that after the main quest, it was either stupid easy or impossible depending on the map and your levels.
Speaking of leveling. Things you can level up: Characters, Weapons, Special Moves, Accessories, Enemies, Levels. Yes, you can level up your leveling.
well, they are still worth points. the guy said they dont boost your gamer score and you agreed, which is false, but then what you are talking about is the % completion that is displayed for the game which they have no effect. which is two different things. but im strictly talking about that they are definitely worth points toward your score which they undoubtedly are.

As PozerWolf said, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” indeed…I thought Xenosaga wasn’t worth the money they spent to develop it. Terrible story, even worse characters (for the most part, Jr. and chaos were baller as was Jin, but that’s because he ripped off Citan) and hardly no gameplay to speak of except for in XS2. They could have and should have taken that money they got to make Xenosaga from Namco, laundered it or something and used it to finish Xenogears’ second disc so it wasn’t the wall o’ text due to budget cuts. They wouldn’t have to improve graphics or anything and it would be better than all three XS games, IMO. 
And speaking of Resonance of Fate, I’m on the last chapter. Final boss is a motherfucker, I may actually have to go and level to beat it. That hasn’t happened in like, years.
Xenosaga was alright. Don’t hate.
I started playing RoF and the tutorials on the battle system are bad. Once you actually figure out how toplay it’s very fun. I’m on chapter 3 I think, about to go find this statue.
