Damn just working on tier 3 weapons in ff13, Im only doing 4 weapons since getting traps is crazy long for me.

I knew this was gonna happen after every ff game there is nothing for me to play…lol.
Oh well I’ll play MGS4 a lil bit more get myself hyped more for peace walker and I’ll continue to play tekken 6.

Super SF4 will be here soon, so I should be good.

Hate for Xenogears wth? That game was dope as hell one of the best soundtracks ever, game hit you with real life knowledge, mecha, kung-fu, mecha fighting game, etc Its basically life on a disc you even had to do jail time in that game…lol. Battle system is fire, linking attacks together what!!! and lets not talk Citan with the sword and his combo’s. Also Fei has gotta be one of the most broken main characters in a rpg. You get his stats up some please he’s doing uncapped damage with out a genji glove.

Sorry for the rant, Xenogears is a dope game IMHO
I liked Legend of Dragoon, it was kinda easy though i ran thru that in 6days/42hrs to beat now to max out everybodies attacks that took fucking time getting the button pressing timing down…thought i was playing parappa…lol.

I played Infamous and Prototype Over friends houses i liked both games but knew i would only do a 1 and done. I’m pissed with GTA 4 will we ps3 owners ever see any additional content?

Funny how we all talking GTA 4 @ the sametime. I look @ the game with love and hate at the same time, like damn i took an L for having it on the ps3…lol.
But now that I know we suppose to get it in a couple of days time to load it up, wow plus when i first played it i was on a sdtv, now i got the hdtv it’s gonna be brand new to me…lol.

I need to go back and replay all my games i had b4 i had my hd tv.

Trophies are cool. I just hate the trophies that require you to go online and obtain. Thats part of the reason why i hate the KOFXII trophies. Like you have to play 100 battles in order to get various ranks from F rank to SSS rank. Its tedious as hell.

I HATE trophies like “Find 100 of these hidden things in this huge map”.

Fallout 3 had a good trophy list, since some were for doing “on-the-side” quests.

just trying to illustrate the stupidity of the new terms which seem to have swept the internet video game world while I wasnt looking.

The only trophies/achievements I hate are ones that absolutely require you to coordinate your effort with other people online…of course this is a personal nitpick since I prefer playing alone more often…and I don’t like the idea that my achievement/trophy depends partially on another person’s help.

Now, this example is from a 360 game but it came to mind immediately: “Tank Burger” in Left 4 Dead 2. You have to beat the Tank zombie with nothing but Melee. There’s basically no chance at all to do this by yourself.

  1. the bots will always shoot the tank, which voids the achievement…it has to be melee damage ONLY from the first hit until he’s dead…getting this with any cpu-teammates in play is literally impossible.

2.) If you kill off the bots, then obviously you have no help, which is a huge problem on that game. Even on Easy mode(after switching out to Expert to kill the bots in the first place), if any of the Special infected zombies get you with no help…that’s Game Over right there since the focus is so heavy on co-op(character gets snared by a Smoker, ridden by a Jockey, tackled by the Charger, caught by a Witch, etc…these are all “one hit = you’re done.” situations.). So, the only reasonable alternative is to work with other people who agree to only hit Tank with melee weapons to get that achievement.

I’d rather the achievements/trophies be obtainable purely by your own effort…but I do love them. It’s odd to even imagine a game with no achievements/trophies now.

*recently got DAT PLATINUM in Dante’s Inferno…it’s an easy platinum though. I relied on a youtube vid for those few silver coins I kept missing though. God of War 3 platinum is next on my list…I only have a few more trophies to go on that one.

Trophies are a nice little addition, but I don’t understand peeps who buy games BASED on them ie. buying a game over another because said game have trophies.

Speaking of which, I got platinum on Uncharted 2 yet my trophy list says I only collected 73% total. Wth?
