So is this Resonance of Fate more of a tactics RPG or more of a regular kind of RPG? Still gathering info on it.
EDIT: Add a list for PSN stuff too.
Thanks, Jab. I’ll add it in a sec.
Right now Sega has said it’s the Hostess clubs and a Japanese history trivia game that have been cut. Rumors are flying about other cuts (mahjong and shogi for example) but I do not think Sega has said anything official about those.
Sure thing.
Everyday Shooter:
Simple, But a fun game. It is basically an old arcade style shooter game, shoot everything that moves and collect shiny things, each level is like a new game and the rules and dynamics of the game change. The game also has an all guitar soundtrack and the music is interactive with what you’re shooting and etc. It’s fun and some levels can be a challenge.
Its 10 bux.
Trash Panic:
Puzzle game, styled like tetris, dropping stuff into a bin, but in this game it is random pieces of trash, and what not. You can drop items down to break other items and use that as a strategy to keep it it cleaner, you can also burn down items or decompose them. Every stage has a boss, which is just a really big item that you have to break down in 10 seconds or you will get a game over. There are also special items that need to be saved by having the little black guys in the background pick them up, or you get a huge penatly, if 3 pieces hit the floor and they aren’t damaged this is game over as well.
It’s really challenging but fun if you really like puzzle games.
It’s 5 bux.
Other than that your list nailed all the other good ones, although I personally don’t like Fat Princess.
I can name Ratchet & Clank on there, its worth it if you like that series as well.

i doubt this got talked about, or people just passed it by because they already bought it…
but yeah. batman: aa in 3d, no new tv or expensive glasses needed.
wow, that would be dope. I dunno if I would drop more money on it though. I still need to platinum that game, it was soo much fun.
Which reminds me, Batman AA should definitely be added to a list of recommended multiplatform games
I love Bad Company 2 Rush mode. The desctructible buildings mean it’s harder for enemies to consistently abuse what would otherwise be common chokepoints/camping spots. It’s also one of the few times where my no-skill, can’t sit still for more than 5 seconds unless taking cover/reloading, dumbass-self can really contribute to the team when I’m the first to arm/disarm
Agreed on Everyday Shooter. It was one of the true gems during the PS3’s rough early years. However, I disagree that it was a “shoot everything that moves” type game. Startdust HD would be a better example of that. Everday was all about setting up chain-reactions (i.e. each stage had a certain type of object that, upon death, would explode & take all surrounding “fodder” enemies with it). And yeah, it was the fact that each stage had its own unique flow/structure that made it so fun. I don’t keep up on the indie circuit, but I wish that Jonathan Mak would make another downloadable game.
I damn near shit my pants when they booted up pixelated Shadow Moses. That shit was hot.
Haha, you know what I’m saying. When i play MGS4 i usually lean back or play laying down, when i saw that i jumped up like a General entered the room. I was surprised i remembered where all the items were and the patrols of all the guards. Entering the vent shaft and remembering in 6th grade when i found out master miller was really liquid…ahhh shit the nostalgia is hitting me again. I gotta go play
Yea it was fun. I still managed to make it in without getting spotted. I was like “Haha! I still got it!”
just finished watching it. looks fun
…and yet there were those who still enjoyed it.
Gonna go the shops today and see if i can snag a copy of RoF and Yakuza 3.
You will run through MGS4 with the exception of the cutscenes. Other than that, have fun with the game, it is so good. Still my favorite PS3 game.
edit: Trash Panic is good, but… FUCKING HARD AS SHIT!!!
Yakuza 3 and GOW 3 coming out this month. I really am not that impressed with Heavy Rain so far. It is like a really long flash that cost 60 bucks.
It’s more like a standard RPG, but the battle system is kinda different that a typical RPG would go. But it’s definitely not a strategy game like FFT/Valkyria Chronicles etc.
I’d probably borrow the game from a friend or something. The story looks interesting but the amount of gametime IMO doesn’t warrant a $60 pricetag, and there’s like no replay value once you see all the endings.
