i didn’t forget about the vid, i just want to redo it so it has less rambling lol. three different videos is OD.

To be fair, FF8 was super ultra fuckin’ broken.
Which is why I thought it was fun ;o

Yea I loved playing 8. It was so easy to be WTF nasty strong in that game. Shit was hilariously awesome.

Diablo 2: make a Hammerdin, make a spirit runeword weapon and shield and you’ll be able to rape the entire game including Hell difficulty with just those two items. They’re free to make too, you should have them made before you even finish Normal difficulty.

Torchlight: Make a warrior class(not sure the exact name, the big motherfucker with the goatee) dual whield weapons, level up dual whield spec, weapons mastery, and the rest of your points in the bash special/stampede. Currently playing it now and I’m raping the entire game this way, I 3 shot any unique monster/boss with his bash move. Shit hits for over 1K every time. Stampede to get in, Bash whoever’s left. Use potions when needed. I found a healing spell and I’ve been using that to save potions in between fights.

FF6: Try to get through the game gaining as little amount of levels as possible. Then, when you have most of the espers including Odin(don’t upgrade him) every time you level up be sure to level up with an Esper that gives you +speed(Odin) or +50 health, or +strength(it’s not called strength in FF6, but whatever increases your physical damage.) Be sure to check your characters stats and when they’re about to level so you can maximize their stat gain. Also, roll with Terra/Cyan/Sabin/Shadow or any 4th character you’d like to use, get all the Genji gloves possible and make it rain with your maximum damage dual whielded weapons that hit for 9999 multiple times. I forget how many times my Terra would hit, it was over 4 hits per turn I think.

FFT and FF5: I never played these games much, but I did beat FFT. The key to breaking these games is similar to FF6. You want to play certain jobs/classes that give you a huge stat boost when you level up. I don’t remember which classes were best for what stats, but looking up a guide as to which job gives +stats on level up will be huge for your playthrough of these games.

FF7: Game’s ridiculously easy, but whatever. When you get to Cosmo Canyon, buy 1-2 HP Plus materia for all of your characters and 1 MP Plus. When you get to Mt. Nibelheim, stay there for as long as possible and keep killing those grasshoppers and dragons. You get a shitload of EXP early on and you level up crazy fast this way. Leave the place whenever you’re ready, and the rest of the game will be even easier than it was. Roll with Cloud/Cid/Barret because they have the best limit breaks and arguably the best final weapons, eventually have them all equipped with 4X cut for hilarity.

Legend of Dragoon: Use Dart/Albert/Kongol or Haschel, simply because they have the best additions. Games entirely based around additions and turning into a Dragoon. Those characters are the best, imo.

FF8: Just junction whatever magic gives you best health and damage upgrades. Braindead easy game. I remember towards the end I drawed out like 99 Aura from Seifer then throughout the entire final dungeon I’d cast aura and spam limit breaks ALL DAY. Squall/Irvine/Zell, they have the best limit breaks by far.

FF9: I used an entire melee/spell based team in this game and beat the entire game and Omega Weapon using this method. Zidane/Steiner/Amarant/Vivi. I forget what exact item gives you this, but once you have it on all 4 of those characters, your team becomes unstoppable. Auto-Regen. Auto-Regen makes it so you don’t even need a healer, you can rape any enemy before they can even get close to killing any of your characters. The only time you’d need to be careful is on boss fights like Hades and Omega Weapon. Then you just stack Auto-Potion on top of Auto-Regen. Shit is hilarious. If you took a lot of damage in a battle just heal up afterwards with potions. If you take huge damage in battle, take a turn to heal whatever character took a bunch of damage. I lost my ultimate save somehow…I had every card, every item except Excalibur 2 and shit, almost all Chocographs, all the Zodiac items. I don’t know how I lost that file. Shit is upsetting. I started another playthrough and am on disc 3, but I don’t know when I’ll take the time to make it GDLK again.

FFX: Sphere Grid. The entire game is based around it. Just constantly level up going through the Sphere grid. Auron’s sphere grid is the best for health and damage, and I think Rikku’s is the best for speed, Lulu’s the best for magic. I put a ridiculous amount of time into this game to a point where even Yuna could run up and smack motherfuckers with her staff for 99,999 damage. Hilarious shit. Tidus/Auron/Rikku were my main 3, and I eventually got to a point where I never needed to switch them out mid-battle, ever. I wish I had the international version of the game, it’d be pretty awesome to fight those extra bosses with a maxed-out sphere grid.

For FF6, leveling strength is a waste. Genji Glove + Offering combo was great, but Magic is infinitely more powerful.

Get someone like Relm, level her Magic stat and if you’re playing the SNES cart use equipment to get her M.Block to 255. Then give Relm an economizer and Gem Box. Teach her Ultima and quick. She can now cast Ultima 3 times in 1 turn for 4 MP and it hits all enemies at once. And because of a glitch she is near invincible because her M. Block is so damn high (M.Block was used to calculate all defense on the SNES cart IIRC). You can do the same for nearly all decent magic users, except the M.Block thing, though I suppose anyone can benefit from it, Relm just happens to have a naturally high M.Block stat. A whole team hitting all enemies for max damage 3 times each for 4 MP is insane.

As for FF5. I believe Bare class (for physical) and Mimic (magic users) are what you shoot for in the end. Mastering classes powers up the bare and mimic classes (I believe it helps the mimic class too). It makes certain abilities innate abilities so you don’t need to waste slots.

For physical damage have them master ninja class so their bare class automatically has dual wield. Then learn the 4x attack from the berserker(? I forget but the archer class) and maybe Magic sword too. Then in Bare class you equip good equipment, and attack 8 times in 1 turn for crazy damage. You can do something similar with mages, just learn double cast from Red mage.

But the S-Tier FFX teams are Tidus/Wakka/Yuna or Rikku/Tidus/Wakka.

Rikku is God tier. KH2 Riku is God tier of assists too. Mickey would’ve been if he had a damn moveset.

^ Once everyone hits for 99,999 it doesn’t even matter anymore, imo. I could have Yuna on my team and she’d be hitting people for 99,999 with her melee attack. What I mentioned in my post is my opinion of some of the best strategy’s you can use. I’m also a fan of melee and rarely use magic even if magic is overall better to use in some cases.

Bastos: that’d make Relm a pretty awesome 4th character to use. I hate Relm, though.

I just ran Terra/Tina with Economizer and Gem Box.

It wasn’t like anything was going to outlast 2X Ultima bursts.

As I see it.

best part of ff8 was eyes on me

DARRRING SO THERE YOU ARRRRRRE

WITH THAT LOOK ON YOUR FACCE

secondbest part was norg

Idk how the he’ll people do no sphere grid runs. And have 999 items of whatever and still do max damage.

Oh yeah, I was mad gdlk in ff10 too. Just hit up the monster arena, fight the specific enemies that give clear spheres, str/luck/agi/magic/hp/mp spheres, then roll through the sphere grid and clear every sphere that isn’t a +4, or whatever the highest number was. For HP I think it was +300 and MP was +30. Replace with the corresponding sphere you get from the monster arenas. Go through the entire grid and you’ll be gdlk.

When I stopped playing ff10, I had clocked like 350 hours and I STILL wasn’t done with every character.

Also, fuck the mini games that unlock final weapon abilities, and fuck blitzball.

FFX-2 was almost as free as FF8.

If only all ps3s were ps2-backcomp. I’d run through these games again. sigh

Best part of ff8 was all of it, dammit!

We should have a srk competition to see who can get the most gdlk save files of ff7 through 9.

If you aren’t using Cactuar in FF8 you are doing it wrong.

Going from the start of the game to getting cactuar while at low a level you can be, then killing your party members, junctioning cactuar and learning all his stat boost junctions and using it to stat boost your characters makes it so you don’t even need to junction magic to stats.

Broken.

Damn are you a rebel. Couldn’t wait until HS?

Enough about Final Fantasy, shitsux.

Instead, let’s get hype about inFamous 2. New trailer featuring more powah can be found here.

Actually, shitsux applies to the Time Splitters series and Soul Calibur 4.

I’ll add to this later.
