FFXIII and Valkyria Chronicles are really good too, I just need to invest more time in them.
Barely started Demon’s Souls, but the two hours I played of it was really good.
I stopped playing around that many hours, as soon as I got Hokuto Musou. Have yet to finish FF13.
I haven’t been serious about FF since maybe like 10, in terms of just sitting down for about maybe 3-4 hours play. That’s why I got DAO to rekindle my gaming habits, 65 hours and killer reply value. I’ll probably wrap things up in infamous first then get another RPG or 2. I hate buying games and not finishing them, I’ve had infamous for months and it just sits there.

OK, something weird is going on.
I got two Gold trophies for FFXIII while at my dad’s place on his PS3. I synced them up to the server, and now they don’t show up on MY PS3, even though they show up on the online list, even after manually syncing the trophies.
I fuckin took that trash out of my PS3 and never put it back in the 3rd time they gave me an awesome upgrade then took it away from me 5 seconds later by switching my team. FUCK. THAT. GAME.
I played through FF13, and after ruminating on it for a bit, I’d have to say that it is indeed a very pretty game. A great story or gameplay, not so much.

there are alot of people, myself included, that think the battle system is one of the best that there has ever been in a final fantasy. its definitely the most fun, especially when you start messing with the little nuances that the system brings.
the storyline is still horrible, and if vanille’s voice actor didn’t have ginormous titties, she might get punched.
I wish. They also got Darkstalkers avs (even though Felicia’s pic is actually from CFE). Probably just Capcom wanting to get some easy $. God knows they got 49 cents from me already, lol.

…and yeah FF13 is love it or hate it; I personally like it. It’s my 2nd fav. FF ATM. …and the story is OK with me, and I like it too.

The battle system can still improve imo. I for one don’t get why you can’t control your other party members to some extent. They could at least give us the option to disable moves so the AI would use the ones we want them to use, I’m fed up with Fang starting off her combo with Ruin over and over, Saboteurs using poison etc etc. Medic AI is also retarded.
I’ll leave the storyline/storytelling alone, I’ve bashed it enough times.

The battle system can still improve, of course. But so can every other battle system ever. What baffles me is that there’s no Gambits equivalent to the AI though, since they’ve ALREADY DONE IT BEFORE.
