Alright I think my router is the problem or something. When I test internet connection everything connects fine but when it goes to download speeds it just stops. It says The router in use may not support IP fragments, and the communication features of some games may be restricted. Man I swear if its not one problem its another when trying to connect my ps3 online. I’m online with it now but I cant play online. Dunno if it really is my system because like i said earlier, my bros 360 plays online just fine.

'Course the features could change at a moment’s notice, but thus far I’m kinda pleased with the route they’re taking. It’s like they’re splitting the features of Live Gold membership in two. So long as they keep the gameplay-related stuff free, and let users decide if they want to pay for the extra fluff/niceties, I’m good.
Man I’m getting sad. My ps3 might be dying. I’ve listed a few problems above but now I’ve found a different problem. It plays my games fine but when I try to watch a dvd movie it wont work. Maybe my lazer is dying? I’ve had my ps3 since the very first day it came out 20 gig. I’m going to call sony in my spare time or take it to play n trade here to see if they can find the problem and maybe fix it for a decent price.
nah… if you send it to sony, its usually a flat rate of 150 bux. see if they have the trade offer still. theyll ask if you would rather just pay 120 bux for a refurbed 120gb slim. which aint bad.

Finally got back to Yakuza 3. Fuck, I said I was gonna take my time w/ this game, & I guess I really meant it. Racked up 45 hours with more than 2 full story chapters to go & only a 34% sidestory/minigame/etc completion rate.
I shudder to think how long it’ll take me to get through Y4.

More people need to get on that Modnation Racers. In a race last night; Freeza vs. a Gundam vs. Jesus Christ vs. others. Then I’m racing around as Cap’n Crunch on the next one, then I’m Mayuri from Bleach again, Leonard Part 6, The Brown Hornet, my “RROD”(in his new “360” jeep) character, etc. etc. Besides the customization aspect, it’s fun to play…with all the usual crazy antics you’d expect from a kart-racer. I managed to come back from last place to 2nd in one race last night…then on another occasion, the last-minute level 2 lightning allowed me to steal 1st…it was beautiful.
PSN + —> if cross-game chat is in there, that’s actually what I care about most for now…everything else on top of that is a bonus to me. Cross-game chat, certain exclusive things on occasion, and discounted prices on certain downloads from PSN…basically that’s enough for them to get my money.
I don’t see what the big deal with cross game chat is. If I’m talking to someone who isn’t beside me about an unrelated subject, I get fucked up and my play-style suffers. Much rather be talking to someone who’s team I’m on about enemy positions during shooters, or to my opponent in a fighting game.
Edit; and something I’ve noticed in Uncharted 2: people leaving in the first 4 minutes of the game. They get killed once or twice then quit. One minute you’re neck and neck with the enemies, the next, they have a damn 10-point lead. Check the scoreboard and find 2 or 3 blacked-out player names, leaving you at the mercy of 5 more skilled players who all have Situational Awareness (damn what ND says, these people are using that crap while moving!), and moving in a focused, coordinated group, as opposed to your team, whose members are all off doing whatever, wherever, and getting picked off every 1 1/2 minutes, or pulling head-on Leeroy Jenkins assaults and getting mowed down without even wounding the other players. That’s been happening every day since Friday, in at least 2 of every 5 games. Nobody quits on the opposing team, though. Hell no.
That’s one of the main reasons I don’t play Uncharted that much. Great game, but those bitches that leave almost ALWAYS have to be on my team. I can count on my fingers the times someone’s left on the other team. That ND hasn’t done anything to fill in dropouts is astonishing.
