You can’t play it like it’s a hack n’ slash game. Play it smart and don’t take risks.
Playing with others on Demon’s Souls doesn’t make it better, it makes it easier.

I’m not nerdraging. I just find it funny you find it a bad game but haven’t really said why outside of you not knowing how to make characters and can’t beat a mini game.
3D Dot Game Heroes has a variation of the Konami Code in it. During character creation you enter it (replacing BA with square and triangle respectively) your shield will turn invisible.
haven’t seen a negative response for 3d dot heroes other than its Zelda.

Lots of bad things about 3DDGH. I played to the end of the water/aqua temple.
Dungeon design is trash.
Enemies are only challenging when a room is swarming with like 10 of them plus traps. Then it becomes stupid. The difficulty is not balanced. Some dungeons (sometimes, rooms in the dungeon) are too braindead and other times they are ridiculous, and there’s no gradual progression from one extreme to the next. It’s just a random clusterfuck of random difficulty rooms stuck together.
Puzzles are braindead because of Parallax.
No way to track sidequests. Stupid.
Mini Games (dash circuit) are stupid and unnecessarily hard because of character model detection. Block Defense was actually good. Actually, nevermind. It was bad.
The only good things about that game are the music and graphics (style).
No, scratch that. They’re trash too. My eyes hurt when I look at the game and the music gives me a headache.
The giant sword mechanic is dumb, as is the swinging mechanic. If they’re gonna copy Zelda, might as well go all they way and not change anything. At least then, it would be playable

Edit: Oh, and all those jokes and references to other games? Stupid. Get outta here with that noise. The game has to take itself more seriously. Also forgot about the character editor. Bad. They should give us as many options as a wrestling game. If I’m going to make make Charizard, I need a lot more than colored blocks.

Well I don’t know weather or not to get 3DDGH. I’m actually enjoying the Mod Nation Racers demo alot. I’m thinking if picking this up.
I already had ModNation Racers on pre-order, but the demo has definitely confirmed that I made the right decision - I’m having a lot of fun messing around with it. The racing controls feel sweet (although I wish more levels were unlocked), and the creator tools are just crazy deep. That mod creator is awesome - the resizing and duplication options give you far more powerful tools than anything we could ever do in LBP with Sackboy; we’ll be seeing some pretty amazing mods in the upcoming weeks, I’m sure. I can see people being able to create just about anything with this.

Wife wants to buy me a game. I’m not sure what to get, between RDR, Skate 3 (love the series), or ModNation Racers. I usually buy fighters with the occasional FPS/TPS. The last game I bought was Uncharted 2, and I think I’ll pass on Super IV. Someone help me. :shake:
Modnation, blacker. You know this to be the right choice. We need another game besides T6 we can play together. At least it won’t be as dependent on frames and shit so we can have a good time (no homo <3)

damn I had to be in the middle of moving when the modnation demo gets released, and I had just downloaded the RKA demo too(from the EU psn though). though I was already planning to get modnation, and have my reserved at gamestop (I like kratos and his kart best from the pre-order offers)
hopefully I can set up my ps3 soon. I gotta find a new tv stand cuz the feet on my old one broke :T and I don’t want to set my ps3 on the floor.
