Same here. I’ll play the career mode offline, because I guess you have to do that to unlock more of the goodies to create with, but I probably won’t start racing online for a week. At least, that’s the theory… :bgrin:

Musashi or Eve should have been #1. Trigger just got released on the DS, so that will satiate the appetite of fans for a while. Gears isn’t as high profile as the aforementioned, if only because of the 2nd disc, and FF6 should not be released on PSN. It should be remade in PS1 FF9 style gfx and released as a PSN exclusive.
Where’d you hear this? I absolutely refuse to believe that there are more ToF fans than there are for any of those other games. 
I would purchase any (and all) of those other games, but I doubt that I will be purchasing Threads of Fate if it were to pop up. I might just to support them, but it would genuinely be a waste of my $5-$9, because I wouldn’t play through the game again (and I still have the disc on my shelf)

Wow. I’ve been meaning to get LBP for a long time now, and now LBP2 is announced. I wonder if I shold bother getting the first one. it is only $30, but maybe I should wait. any thoughts?

ok, that was actually too amazing…I was also going to get the first Little Big Planet, but there is no point now since part 2 will apparently surpass it in every way. I hope the “Create!” trend continues to blow up in this industry… I really can’t get enough of it. I’m reminded of the simple days of WWF Warzone on psx, where a good 95% of my fun with that game was just creating new characters…I had at least 30-something characters made, complete with notes written down on all of them in case a memory card got corrupted. These games that let you create things with a reasonably deep array of resources…these are the games that have the most insane replay value to me. I could seriously enjoy things like this for years at the least.
You might still want to get LBP if you want to practice creating your own games. I’m telling you it’s going to be rough though. I’ve spent many days staying up past 4 in the morning trying to get my game finished. It took me months to complete one of them and through my effort i received hardly any feedback, the few that I did get was negative only and it takes a lot of time and dedication for your level to show up on the front page.
There is a benefit to getting the first LBP, anything you unlock in it gets transferred to LBP2 right away.
yeah I might do it, it’s only $30 now. but with Mod Nation out this month too, not sure where my creativity will flow. lol
