GG Magnifico and Infernoman. Just can’t seem to beat you, Magnifico…though I take solace in the fact that I usually bring you down to 1-3 pokes by the end of the battle.
Infernape continues to be a thorn in my side whenever I use Sunny Day + Specs Heatran. It would be no problem if I used a Scarf on Heatran instead, but it loses a considerable amount of power without the Specs. Bah, choices…
And it turns out Rest + Leaf Guard doesn’t do jack shit. I thought it would work like Early Bird or something, but I guess not. Leaf Guard still comes in handy for blocking status moves, though.
I wonder how the fight against Infernoman would have gone if that one Fire Blast wasn’t critical…

and yeah that chritical to my pmn really turn the tide in your favor…no pkmn can really survive specs Fire blasts…I thought you pkmn was scarfed though…heh
Heh, I remember I was apalled that Leaf Guard didnt even block my Machamp’s Dynamic Punch confusion in our battle last night. they shoulda made it so it blocked confuse etc too.
Perhaps the way Leaf Guard works is that it only blocks direct status moves like Hypnosis and Thunder Wave, but still lets secondary effects from attacks like Dynamicpunch, Flamethrower and Thunderbolt get through. Ah, who knows…I guess I’ll find out sooner or later.
Edit: Sooner rather than later. I just checked Smogon, and it looks like it’s only confusion that gets through. That’s certainly a relief.
Infernoman: Tangrowth doesn’t learn Synthesis, unfortunately. The only healing move it can get (aside from Rest) is Morning Sun, and you can only get a Tangela with that move from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. There’s no way I’m buying an entirely new game just to get a Tangrowth with a good healing move, especially considering my current Sunny Day Tangrowth was blessed with such an awesome Hidden Power.

Nah, I’d rather not have any hacked pokes. I’ll just have to live with my non-healing Tangrowth with amazing IVs.

because I hate to breed, I know I’m limiting myself on making more varied pkmn…but thanks to other friends I have and trading I have gotton a stable of very good pkmn! only ones I can make usually involve heart scales and TMs…

gg, breloom came out late and was the key for my team. Just like infernoman yesterday, blissey allows breloom to setup - instantly stealing momentum.
Crap. I have to redo my whole team. I thought using ditto was pretty good until I got smashed on the other day. I was beat by an EV’d Tyranitar, Slaking, Vespiquen, and a Magmortar all female.
I’m currently working on Electrivire, then Tyranitar will come next after that. Milotic will take me a VERY long while to get because I don’t have a feebas or another Milotic to breed. I’m still not sure about Lucario anymore… Magmortar will take me a bit since now I have to wait for Monday to even get a chance of getting a magby with a magmorizer. Salamence I will now have to COMPLETELY redo. My stats are on the verge of average and need to breed another one to make him better, and he was adamant nature too.
Again, I will post up whenever I can get on. I might post a little later if anyone is on during this holiday, but know now… I only have crap pokes.
If I can play later… I would probably use Metagross, Salamence, and Infernape just to name a few. Damn, i really need to work and getting better pokes, and quick.

Does ANYONE have a TM Grass Knot for trade? The only person who wants to trade it on the Mariland Forums and a Ev’d Pogemonz for it, and I don’t feel like trading something that could be more useful for a move.
