just means an instant nerf to gen 5 pokes, really, unless S/R gets a nerf in itself to not warrant pulling pokes from gen 4 just for it.

Honestly, Gen V isn’t looking too competitive. Hardly ANY Pokemon have solid base stats. I mean, we’ve got some 100+ speed with 100+ atk/special attack, but 60 def and special defence lolwut?
Kerudio + Terakion seems to have the best base stats. (91, 72, 90, 129, 90 and 108 in Attack, Defence, Special Attack, Special Defence and Speed for Kerudio and Terakion has the same with Attack and Special Attack switched.)
Here’s where I’m thinking GameFreak have got some sly moves/abilities to compensate for this…
lol Ononokusu learns both Dragon Dance and Sword Dance, has Mold Breaker and Outrage is this last attack…

what’s with the dream world thing? Is it an alternate reality situation only or is it a place you can get pokes with some of this silly stuff and use in the normal game?

I think you’re forgetting about Blaziken getting fucking SPEED BOOST.
That, along with Hi Jump Kick’s base power becoming 130 is going to be disgusting.

It’s a Psychic special attack that deals damage to the regular Defense stat. Deal with it, Blissey.
When you log off of your game in a specific place, your save data gets transferred via wifi to the Dream World website. If you log in to the site, you can interact with pokemon in the Dream World and eventually “befriend” them, making them available for capture in a certain location in the normal game. When you catch them in this way, they have a new ability. They can’t learn this ability any other way (breeding, normal capture, etc.), so it’s not possible to have a Dream World ability and an Egg move, for example. At least, that’s how I understand it, heh.

And hi jump kick is 130 now? really? Is that a damage increase for the move, or how does it work?
The base power for HJK (as in, the number next to the damage description) is now 130.
Hitmonlee also has Unburden now, which can’t be good for anything it faces.
