Best season was definetely the first, but I will say that Johto season did captivate audiences to stick around. Everything seemed to blow up when misty left, I don’t think they’ve done a good enough job with her replacements. I know A LOT of Dawn haters, and people who can’t stand May.
The characters introduced in the Hoenn seasons are very forgettable.
First season is the best, and most unforgettable for those who grew up during the poke-craze. I woke up early to watch pokemon every day before school. I still remember almost every episode scene for scene. Love the games. SUPED for White and Black, If for no other reason then I believe the special version will be Pokemon: RAINBOW !

New Pokemon look retarded…hopefully their evolutions will look better. I mean, the zebra pokemon looks like a palette swap with Girafarig. The pigeon Pokemon looks like a down-syndromed version of Starly. Looks like they’re finally running out of ideas.
I’m liking how Gear looks, it’s like a cool Bronzor.
The bird, crocodile, gear, and chinchilla look pretty good. The fire ape is not that terrible.
I don’t like everything else though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the new starter, the legendary, and the ape are the only gen V fire Pokemon.

i’m disppointed at the pigeon. like mooyang said, its too similar to starly. I hope its final evolution is cool and competitive
