I rather like that idea though, Grass/Fighting-Fire/Dark-Water/Psychic. Maybe they’ll gain their second traits from a final evolution, and just start out grass/water/fire. The main characters, if that’s them, look terrible. I think it’s getting worse every passing generation (mains artwork).

yeah i hate the starters but love the trainers as well. I also like the female trainer better than the male once again, At least the male ain’t half bad this time.

No kidding. The starters look like the designers are just doing the motions. Meanwhile, we have a male trainer that doesn’t look like a total douchebag for once. The female trainer looks like the ditsiest one yet, though.
Seriously, they even ruined Gen 2’s male trainer in the remake. I’m amazed the male trainer here isn’t totally fucked up.
