man i wish people would change up togekiss…i don’t think i’ve ever seen one non-parahax kiss moveset. i don’t even run one anymore cause its moveset is so predictable since nobody changes up.

Let’s be real here, parahax is abused because it works, really really well. Alternate sets can be good, but parahax is a gimmick that keeps on ticking, even when you know it’s coming.
it’s abused and works but what happens when the opponent has a pokemon that absorbs electricity like jolteon (who can easily setup subs + baton pass at the sight of danger) and electivire who gets a free motor drive boost? or even to pokemon who can abuse guts? like i said you can easily see it a mile away because nobody changes up the set.
that set is way too gimmicky for me and i’d much rather run a conventional nasty plot set. kiss is bulky enough to take a lot of hits, can roost off damage and is not even walled by blissey like the other special sweepers are. in fact, i think +2 life orb aura sphere is a comfortable 3ko and possibly a 2ko with stealth rock damage and prior damage to blissey.
I ran a mixed sweeper. Parahax is a set I never liked to begin with.
Movelist was: Air Slash, Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere, Roost. 252HP/152 SpA/104 Spe.
Opening with Ambipom, Nasty Plot + BP to Togekiss was what I used a lot. Roost when low on health, and Air Slash for STAB, SpA bonus and Serene Grace bonus. Aura Sphere to cover Lucario’s I ran into mostly.

roost/nasty plot/ air slash/ some other move for type coverage togekiss is awesome, I highly recommend it to anyone who is bored of the para/flynch version(also IMO body slam is superior to thunderwave in paraflynch, 80% chance + solid damage).
For anyone that doesn’t know, Emerald needs you to be in Battle Frontier, and you can clone up to 4 at a time IIRC. Got multiple Ice Beams and Thunderbolt’s this way :lol:
