Whenever someone says that DPPt was unoriginal, I always like to mention Muk from RBY. He is a pile of Muck named Muk.
But I still love all of the Generations, DPPt holding a special place for “re-igniting” my love for the series. It even has me getting up at 8:00 AM every Saturday morning to watch the new episode each week again. I love that feeling.

i don’t see why we wouldn’t see red/ash in the remake cause i mean…it IS a remake. same game just with much better graphics and slightly changed teams.
i’m interested in seeing how morty’s, pryce’s and clair’s teams and gym puzzles are gonna be like.
i agree with g/s/c having a weak E4, having pokemon in their early to mid 40’s and stuff lol. still my favorite generation by far though

I hold RSE dear to me, slightly higher than DPPt. I skipped GSC because at the time i grew out of pokemon. (and the anime faded too, i hated the orange islands so stopped watching the anime)
so now i’ll get my chance at it

If that’s true I wonder what they have in store for pkmn trainer red, because his old team really didn’t need adjustment. You had all 3 Kanto starters, a high level Pikachu, an Espeon, and Snorlax (this thing was a bitch to faint back then!). I think Espeon will get the boot (since Ash never had an eevee I think) but I don’t know about the others.
I will laugh my ass off if they start replacing some of his older poke with legendarys.
yeah i have no idea why he had an espeon either…shouldve added muk since he DID have one.
He has an Espeon because he had one in the Pokemon Special Manga.

Or that Zoey and Dawn’s Japanese named (Nozomi and Hikari) are both the names of Japanese bullet trains that run in opposite directions. While the Nozomi (Zoey) is faster than the Hikari (Dawn)
Or that Dawn’s Starly clock is a shiny Starly?
Or that Ash finally finds out that Pikachu destroyed Dawn’s bike in DP038, and Dawn doesn’t even mention the bike when they are cycling road?
