i do have to say that i’m shocked my Crobat coul not outspeed Empoleon…absolutely shocked. Did it have Quick Claw? usually there’s an animation to let us know when quick claw takes effect…right? or is that only on the trainers perspective?
Empoleon was never in with Crobat, it was Jirachi. And Jirachi was scarfed. Surprised that there was never a flinch from Jirachi’s Iron Heads.

looking at the stats for Jirachi and his Serene Grace ability…its hard to imagine why he’s not banned. He’s perfectly balanced statistically, has good typing in Steel/Psychic, and can mad uber annoying with serene grace doubling his added effects for his moves

I tried to do the whole EV training thing but I ened up dropping it.
I only really battle casually anyway so I doesnt really matter anyway.
What annoys me most is when people ask me if I EV train and when I say no they look at me like I’m retared

I also got luckly killing Jirachi too, I U-Turned Crobat since he had no chance of taking down the little bugger…but i forgot for which pokemon though. I just know i hit him with a fire type move but didn’t flinch when i was hit

Has anyone tried a Lucario lead? That shit is amazing. :lol: Nowadays with everyone having a SR’er for their lead move, I’ve found it’s taken a lot by surprise. It’s can set up before you know what’s happeneing and once it does, it’s too late. 6-0’s and 5-0’ everywhere.

I am so going to start using that, what EV spread you running on that? I used one on a friends team and it was amazing. Inner Focus screws over several anti leads.
Against Azelf, are you suppose to Crunch while they SR, Swords Dance and take the hit with FS, and then Extreme speed or something?
I kinda wish I could fit it into my current team, but then I would have four to ground, even though I have 3 immune to ground.
Hmm, I haven’t fought an Azelf yet. I suppose it could work either way, but if you kill Azelf you can probably bet they are going to try and send something in next to kill it off. And Extremespeed without a SD doesn’t kill much… In that case you might want to SD and take the hit, then kill it so you can hit whatever comes in next harder.
But then again I have seen some Azelf’s with Focus Sash too :looney: In other words I don’t know lol

you know with what was said about Crobat, I think he could do it if it was a bulky bat with HP ground fire or fighting.
have used Luke leads…though I don’t like it personally.
I think I’m going to stick with a generic Azelf SR lead because it usually gets SR down, but it seems so popular that I think people will probably have a way to beat it out.
