i keep forgetting to post my FC. However, i still need to train some pokes. I didn’t know they recently moved Garchomp up to Uber and i had no idea i had so many OUs on my team

wow I just made Puff Puff and was unsure if he’d prove useful. no doubt putting worry seed on it paid off a lot. :rock: I knew it would force you to switch and to be honest I did it KNOWING that clefables with burn/toxic orb would switch in.
I was half expecting trick scarfing…and yet it was what did you in when I got it on clayface. A lot of these pkn I’d tried to use in OU and had some sucess. in that team the pkmn I used most was Wanda. every other pkmn I used either once or never before tested on WiFi.
what a good time to record it. expect it online in an hour and some. :tup:

heh even if you didn’t trick scarf me trick room would have given steelix a chance to finish it up. if you switched out earth power would finish up either toxicraok or hitmontop. As for another game, perhaps another night. as I said I recorded this match and well been months since I have done this so I’m excited to get it up ASAP.
so many pkmn here were untested much less even set up in a team I didn’t think was balanced.
Steelix + Clefable + Claydol is a pretty solid defensive core, really. You can stop practically everything in UU with those three.
Hmm never thought aboutt hat. I was torn between Steelix or Cloyster (who I made for Hail teams) to avoid a water weakness but I love steelix and really wanted my new (updated for platinum) one to be used. it’s oe of my fave pkmn and it came through. Drifblim proved to be an excellent self sufficent sweeper. (though if I CMed in stead of subbed I might have been able to sweep you fully with it) peteya boost + unburden kicking in is evil. :badboy:
Yeah, Drifblim can be a real pain. I didn’t handle it too well in this particular match. Didn’t help that half my team was paralyzed when it came out.

So your Muk didn’t just crit Claydol, it also survived that Psychic with 2 friggin’ HP! Rage!
Actually, the way my Venusaur hung on by 6 HP kinda makes up for that.
Paralysis is what really screwed me in the end. That, and the lack of Focus Blast on Croak (which has now been remedied).
I’ve been seeing a lot of scarfed Jirachi leads on Shoddy. A flinch from Iron Head is a total bitch on my Azelf. since it’s a 2HKO. =(

That was a damn good match. I like that pokemon’s move set. Worry seed seems to wreck shop on any rest users/sleep talkers
well I was going to originally stick to the smogon set that used sleep powder and encore but worry seed provides the same mind games that encore does and forces switches just the same (or keeps pkmn in foolish enough to think they’re ok). by using worry seed then sleep powder become useless to have. poison powder and toxic aren’t much help in UU since a lot of poison pkmn are around so stun spore was the way to go.
I’m gonna have to step my game up, even in OU my game isn’t on par with most people.
I’m just posting in this thread to say that I love my Ash Ketchum hat. Because Ash Ketchum is the realest Street Fighter ever, I always wear my hat with the green triangle symbol thing whenever I game.
Dude, I’m so going to buy one of those hats and bring a stuffed Pikachu every time I go to a tournament of any kind.

I was wondering if Pokemon Platinum was coming to states or not. And is it true that they tweaked some of the Pokemon? I heard that Scissors can learn Bullet Punch in Platinum. I’m kinda glad that he has some new options now but I’m a little annoyed because I recently finished a Choice Scarf Scissors and now I am gonna want to make a choice band Scissors.
With those priority moves band and scarf kinda seem unnecessary on Scizor. Platinum is already confirmed it’s headed over here in a couple of months. Damn my DS is gonna start beasting my PSP again <3

Yep, Pokemon Platinum is coming to the states, not sure about the release date, but that was posted a few pages back.
And yes Scizor does get Bullet Punch, and I’m pretty sure he is the most used Pokemon right now, someone can check Shoddy for that information.
