Well I’m sure they wouldn’t be that generous but EX-Speed or a completely new move (Mirror Move, Sing) might be likely.
Just got Emerald the other day. If Platinum isn’t out by March I’ll upgrade to Diamond/Pearl.

You get some useful move tutors from Emerald that you can transfer to the DS games.
I’ve come to loathe Shoddy. I bring in a special attacking Kecleon and basically get laughed at. Then it downs a Mence and people stop laughing. (People lol at it and waste a turn, letting me Nasty Plot… then Ice Beam = dead dragon.) >:\ I need to get one of those gaming Wi-Fi adapters so I can get online instead of having to deal with Smogon / Official Shoddy servers.
On another note, I love my Normalize Delcatty & Sweeping Kecleon. <3 So unexpected and so win.

Good stuff. :tup: I love using unconventional Pokemon or UU Pokemon in OU tier. I’ve done crazy things with Chatot and Drifblim. I did use the Nintendo Wi-fi USB Adapter but now I use a wireless router for battling. Speaking of which, maybe I’ll sell you my adapter. (right now it’s collecting dust lol)
I tried Normalize Delcatty. It was awesome Thunder Waving a Ground type (I think it was Hippowdon). But it was no way of damaging ghost types directly. :shake:

@Guru: Normalize is a one-shot thing. I’m a big fan of gimmicks, so Normalize (fuck, Delcatty in general) is right up my ally. You’re feeling good about para-haxing that Hippo / Gastrodon / Swampert, and then the Gengar comes in and you shit bricks. I don’t care, though, I always get a laugh at the "WTF"s whenever I paralyze Swamperts.
How much do the adapters go by these days? I heard Nintendo discontinued their line because of some copyright infringement, but I saw some on eBay for, like, $15. All I know is I need one to spread some Ampharos rape onto Wi-Fi, haha.
It’s a shame Surskit’s the only Bug/Water Pokemon. I always thought it was a very interesting type combination.

Yeah they seem to be selling between $15-$20. I’d be willing to sell for $15 plus shipping. 4play can vouch that I’m a credible seller. I sold him one of my PS2s in August.

so then shall we begin thinking up new ideas for pkmn movesets? since platinum is out Shoddy updated with the new moves to reflect this. I need to look over what I have now and try to find new uses and spreads to possible rethink how i use some pkmn.
I already have nine Pokmon with Platinum movesets.
