yeah I forgot about no guard…but was hoping to hold out til you burned up your PPs for it.
yeah if you used substittue instead of protect you easily woulda burnt my pp up. im glad no guard activated, apparently it doesnt always hit through protect. I had 1/8 pp at end i think.
I knew I was taking my chances from the start with ninjask…odds were against me and protect didn’t do it’s job

If you’re talking about the tier list, it does cover the older gen, but unfortunately there are a bunch of UU/NU guys from the 1st/2nd gen
additionally you only need to worry about ubers of which there are 6 from the first 250:Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Wobbuffet

Guru - Yeah most people don’t trip on item clause because it really doesn’t effect the standard battle as much as Species or Evasion. But if somebody wants to battle with those rules also, adjusting to it is easy.

item clause is almost always broken by multiple leftovers which helps with walling more than anything (or we’d only really see weezing as a physical wall)
Judging by it’s IVs, it’ll say it’s “Somewhat vain” once I bring it over to Pearl, but it’s still capable of getting its HP up to 710 with 252 HP EVs. Just so ya know, that little message simply tells you which of its IVs is highest. It doesn’t give a boost. Oh, and do you want me to give it a nickname before I bring it over?

haha gg inferno, close as hell. you still had 6 pokemon like 30 minutes into the battle so i thought you’d wear me down, the key point of my victory was SLEEP TALK to REST allowing my Ursaring to kill lanturn which was THE most annoying of your pokemon. both of us using lanturn is what made it so long. you had skarmory, and lanturn was my only special attacker, so your lanturn/skarmory wall was a BITCH since lanturn cant do SHIT to lanturn.
