Mag: For real, the power up + STAB and say something like Life Orb really stings. Fake Out hella hurts with that combination, and double hit works too. I have return on mine for some reason though.
i have double hit and life orb, fake out + double hit with taht does kil a lot of things outright, and since hes fast often before they get to move. im really tempted to swap it out for return though. missing with ambipom really sucks. but im too lazy to make him happy, so i just pretend that double hit is useful since it can hit through subs.

damn. that’s like one step below the dedication of breeding for perfect IVs. but it sounds like the time investment pays for itself if you plan to breed effectively… i’ll probably start my ditto hunt today.

I know that feeling man, that’s why I’m going out of my way as of late to ensure that almost every team of mine has one way or another to deal with things like that. Give it some time, phazers/hazers will make a comeback.
I don’t use that combo much anymore (for a while Skarms would ruin my fun but lately few people use skarm or any phaser for that matter)
in any case that was really an experimental team…a bit more tweaking and it can be quite the powerful team!
though I have another setup…for other options…but one thing

i dont have many moveset complete (and only 3 semi-properly EV trained) pokes ready, so i thought what the hell, throw in my old gyara, scout/kill its counters then pull out the real gyara later, but you forced me to show hand a little early.
how do you beat that sub-baton combo anyway? just keep killing subs till the opp runs out of sub pps? lol
ps: anyone got spare water stones, or would like to trade one for a thunderstone?
Ninjask is dangerous if you’re just getting into competitive battling and haven’t seen it before. It’s no yamega, but it can still set others up to sweep your team if you don’t have a decent enough counter. I listed the 3 worse things that can happen to it sometime back:

Stealth Rock - It being a Bug/Flying type means about 1/3 HP gone every switch in. Maybe 2/3.

Trick Room - Prevents it from doing certain things, play your cards right and you can trap it!

Roar/Whirlwind - Just blows it away, this is really good because if it baton passes the baton passed pokemon selected doesn’t get no boost.
Best counter is Skarmory no doubt, Bronzong can trap it also (or anything that does trick room)
Stealth Rock poke’s love seeing Ninjask too.

Oh BTW, it’s usually understood, but I guess you don’t know. You can’t use more of one type of pokemon, i.e., 2 Gyarados, in a battle.
Of course, Game Freak is stupid for not adding certain clauses in WiFi battles, since it dumbs the game down…like Double Team + Rest.
Oh, a great counter to Ninjask would be Swampert with Stealth Rock and Roar. If you see the Ninjask, just Stealth Rock the first round, then Roar the second…EASY!
Often known as “Species Clause” yes you cannot use two of the same pokemon on your team. Infernoman or somebody needs to get the rules up someday for newcomers or people just starting out so they can adjust and win.
