I just bought a new PS3 slim today but i want to transfer some of the saves from my old 40gb ps3 onto the slim. Problem is that i cant get my old ps3 working because of the YLOD. Is there any alternative solutions? Can i use the 40gb hdd and plug into the slim?

Plugging in the drive won’t work, It will ask you to reformat the HDD. The only way is if you get the 40gb fixed then you transfer your data over.

Yeah it is kind of small, they had Japan in mind when they designed it of course and never changed. Playing FPSs on it can get kind of cramped too with both hands trying for the same area position.

PS3 version comes out August 25th, I read SCEA told Capcom no trophies NO DICE. Game is not set to come out here. I’m feeling like importing it, to see if I like it with the Dual Analog sticks. My hands used to cramp on the PSP, so I didn’t get into the game much. Wii version made my eyes bleed.
