Trine is a great puzzle game, pick it up if you can.
EvilRyuX: The answer is Netflix, why? Blu-rays, the streaming is just icing on the cake. But if you want just streaming, Vudu gets their releases on the day the movie is released on DVD, while Netflix gets theirs weeks to a month later. Base your decision on if you want streaming+Blu-rays or just streaming.
I don’t know how many of you have played Dungeon siege 3, but I’m gonna say don’t bother. it’s run and gun for the most part. do that, and your chances of being killed are VERY slim. Nice visuals, but that’s about all it has going for it IMO.
Player1: Yo!! Watch out for the troll horde!!!
Player2: Um, dude? I’m playing wipeout.
Player1: Yeah? Well you REALLY better watch out for the troll then!! He shouldn’t even be there!!
I don’t really see the comparison.
Netlfix is like On Demand for $8 a month.
Vudu is Pay Per View.
I have Netflix, but tried Vudu because you get a free credit signing up, and Vudu had better image quality.
To me Netflix is a better value, and I like their back catalog due to me watching TV series on there.
seriously, though, I can’t talk about bullshit with people while I’m gaming cuz I’m trying to win. It’s like talking on the phone while playing: it distracts you, and takes you out of the game unless you’re talking about the game with somebody your playing with as team mates, and then, only to give warnings and set up strategies. Whenever I play U2 on the phone, I’m dying tons of times and getting like 2 kills, if ANY. Off the phone, 7-12 nearly consistently. I don’t really like to chat during play, but I like to hear people make jokes with each other on my team. For some reason, it makes the whole experience even more fun.
I can see where your brother is coming from. The Final Fantasy 14 controller is much bigger than the dual shock, but same layout. It feels much better in your hands. I don’t have large hands, but I’m a grown man with man hands.:smokin:
I will say the Dual Shock 3 has a better D-pad, this one is good, but not as stiff as the DS3. It will probably take me some getting used to, but most games don’t use that for movement anyway.
I’m going to keep using it, it just feels better in your hands. Anybody that thinks Dual Shocks are a little small, should buy one of the FFXIV controllers.
It’s not a bad game. It’s far from good, too, though. They basically took the Castlevania theme/format and applied it to Diablo 2 grindfests. You farm the same content over and over for upgrades, pretty much. Even as a huge Castlevania fan (“whirrrrrr whirrrrr”, and other fan noises), it got old pretty quick.
Well, yes and no. It’s exactly the same visual and control style. It’s just more based on “epic lewtz” than it is castle exploration and storyline. There’s storyline to it, but it feels more like an afterthought. It definitely feels like it was meant to be more of an arcade-ish multiplayer hack and slash. Something more along the lines of Gauntlet with upgrades.
One thing I’ll say is that it’s cool how the different characters from the different games all play, well, differently. Only certain people can access some areas by themselves, and then for example, trigger a switch that allows the rest of them to get there. It’s typical multiplayer fare, but it’s an interesting addition to the “classic” (as in, post-SotN) Castlevania style.
Yeah, it’s definitely not for everyone. It doesn’t help that it’s kinda funky at first to keep zooming in and out on the map to try to get an idea of where you’re going.
