Hmm nothing for me this week from PSN aside from BoF4.
I have it on my Wii, but the updates are well worth getting it. I liked this game better than the 2nd one, even though its got the silly free roam thing going on.

My fellow Battlefield addicts, is Battlefield 3 going to be quintessentially better on PC like all the other Battlefield games? Or will the gameplay on PS3 be identical to the PC version? I know that graphics will obviously be better on PC but what about the gameplay experience?

Now if they can add HBO a la carte for $120 or so, I would be ecstatic.
Battlefield 3 on consoles will only support up to 24 players as opposed to 64 players on PC and the maps in the console version will be smaller as well.
I’ll just end up getting it for PS3 though just because I have a better setup there.

Holy fuck @ 64 players cap in Battlefield 3 for PC. That’s oldschool Battlefield right there, if only I had a PC that wasn’t as old as a PS2. Resistance 3’s drop in player cap from 64 players(which is absolute chaos and is fun as hell to play) to 12 players has me so damn salty. What the fuck. :tdown:
I pre-ordered 3S a couple of days ago and got the awesome PS3 theme. I’m also hearing you can make a “group” in-game in 3SOE, as in, we could have a group called “SRK 3S” and be able to send/receive fight requests and such through that instead of having to manually add people. I plan to play the shit out of this game, though going from a 6 button faced pad that I use for GGPO to a 4 button faced pad(PS3) is going to suck at first. I should be able to adjust though, I just hate hitting the trigger buttons for moves. Those are strictly assists for me in Mahvel 3.
Add Sonicabid if you’re up for matches in Mahvel/3S.

I was going to get it at Fry’s, but I didn’t have time to leave work and go. I work by Fry’s, but there isn’t one near where I live. I will probably just end up ordering it off of their website, $2 shipping and the game is on sale 8/17-8/18 for $40.
