Guys, I am thinking about going from stick to pad. Pad is just so much easier to carry around for tournaments. I know this sounds like a sin, but I am trying to figure out functionality. Do any of you guys use pad?
Recommend me a 360 to PS3 converter for my stick.
I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been using a PS3 Pad for Marvel and Madcats Fight Pad for AE and SFxT. I can pull so much faster stuff then on a stick. I still love my stick will use it from time to time, But pad feels so much comfortable.
The only one to recommend is a XCM Cross Fire, but that shit is laggy. Go buy a MC Cthulhu or something. I have a Qanba Q4RAF. Dualmod out of the box. I am going to play PS3 pad for a while and try to get the hang of it.

My bad man, I had a few drinks and stayed out later than expected. I should be on this evening after work. Yea those guys created some nice maps. It’s an odd feeling blowing someone’s back off in a place so serene. I’m just kinda mad that I THINK the only way I can use the 3rd person action cam online is if I make the session and allow mutators. Which sucks, because I love 3rd person and especially in this game’s style. But all skins are there in any online match.
It’s all about your preference. Some guys swear by stick, or by pad, but you’ll have some scenes for games that are predominantly one way or the other, like stick for SF or pad for Tekken. And then there’s hybrid people like me. For various games I use…

SCV: Pad
VF: Stick
Capcom games: Stick
MK9: Pad
GGXXAC: Pad
Most other 2D stuff: Stick
Don’t really concern yourself with the lugging around of equipment. Yea pads are lighter to carry, but they’re also easier to be stolen or misplaced. And in the end, it’s all about your comfort and how you can perform.
