Picked up 3s last night so we had something other to play than MK and AE. I forgot how fun 3s is.
Dayum, now I regret cancelling (because free 2-day shipping doesn’t apply to HI residents) the free Prime membership I got by using my old email address from college.
Well, picked up MK:KE for my brother as a late birthday present, and the DMC HD Collection for myself. You have to be a Power Up Rewards member (free or pro) to get the discount for MK, though. I might pull the trigger on KOF today, since I found out that it still comes with the soundtrack.

KOF soundtrack is meh. You have to be really into it to enjoy it. Maybe because I am a casual fan, I did not really enjoy it. It came with mine for Xbox and the only song I play just to mess with friends when they get in the car is #7 called Who is Queen. Just youtube search it or something the first 10 seconds have you going wtf.

Yeah man, everybody was just happy I was willing to throw down the 15. The venue we play at is Coliseum gaming off 84th and Park. They had wireless internet and it took about 20 mins to download. We played AE until it was ready and it felt so refreshing to do a headstop with alex, go for full parry against remy super, and try to not get stunned by denjin ryu. Although I still hate playing Hugo in the Ibuki/Hugo matchup. That match still feels awful to this day.
I think he’s talking about the compilation soundtrack, where it has selected themes from '94 through some later version. AKA, back when SNK made some boss-ass video game music.

Oh god there are so many games I want. Skate 3 is on clearance here at target for $13. Warhammer Space Marine is on clearance for $27. I am waiting for one more drop. I get paid Thursday and I am buying Skullgirls next Tuesday. I want to go home and play Troll Hawk online AE.

Not really. Those old-ass games are all they are EVER going to release on any system (that should have been clear by now, from thier actions. Only 360 can get semi-modern geo fighters, but most 360 owners who play fighters are cap-scrubs, so they don’t appreciate that shit). No aof2, no kof 97, 98/um, 2k2/um…what we have now is all we’ll get. Kof 96 will probably be the last release for psn. The handheld…I predict no more releases besides the old-ass games that are on psn, excluding kof 95 and 96. I bet they made that thing to be like those 20-in-1 handhelds, with no capability to get more games installed via cart or digitally. Cuz that’s modern snk: stupid decisions.
Thanks for showing but I think I might just get skullgirls and warhammer. I already own Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, Deus Ex, Mortal Kombat, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition. Those are a bunch of PS exclusive games, but I don’t know if I will have time. Thanks again Beta.

For the brief time I worked at gamestop I loved it. Which was about 5 months probably.
But I think its because I already knew all the employees were good people and I knew like…90% of the customers so I had no issues.
As soon as my assist manager quit and we got a Store Manager though everyone either transfered or quit because he was a manager that absolutely no one liked, and got a lot of good people fired, plus he got a store closed due to his ignorance. But since he was a corporate kiss ass he got to keep his job.
The location closed about 6 months later.
Edit: He was there for the last week of my two weeks and he got super heated because the entire time he would fuck up and not convince someone of a pre-order or a gameinformer subscription I would jump in and convince the person so I would get super high subscription and pre-order percentages and it made him look horrible. One of my friends ended up working there and heard corporate bitching on the phone to him about why he let someone like me leave because my numbers were so good.
Do you guys get a bonus for pre orders and game informer bull shit?
This is why i’m not too keen on Gamestop. Its too much trying to sell the customer bullshit they don’t need instead of appeasing to what the customer wants.
