Okami is the best Zelda game.
Yakuza 5? Massive? Yes yes yes. I’m at the end of 4, I was doing the fucking dress up the hostess as Akiyama but keep falling asleep.

You played batman on hard or normal? I completed the game on hard then did new game plus. In your regular save file you don’t have to get riddler trophies again in ng+ It just carries over. So if you got all 440 once no need to do it on new game plus.
NG+ is a tad bit harder until u get use to not seeing the spidey sense. I beat the game on hard so ng+ for me wasnt that bad. Hard def was a challenge. Normal yea you just curb stomp peeps the whole game. Hard you might see all the villians at the restart screen especially when playing with catwoman.
I played on Normal, not Hard. So finally clear it up:
If I want to get rid of the warning signs, do have to beat the game again on Hard or can I use NG+ and then turn up the difficulty?
I just started my NG+ and there are no more warning signals.
Infamous was good for what it was. An original super hero ip that was better than any super hero game released at that time, and still the only two that beat it are a part of the same series. and Infamous 2 is better in every area aside from one of the more important ones, the powers, the evil ones suck. they’re still good, but were much better in the first (to me)
It came just before the batman games and unlike batman didn’t have 70 years of history to go on like arkham asylum/city did. When you have 70 years of history its kinda hard to believe that other series dont have games as good as arkham city/asylum ( spiderman anyone?)
The funny thing is unless you jumped in playing the game on hard for the achievement there are no enemies outside the end of the second island and the 3rd that pose any horrendous level of threat to you. and even the 3rd island enemies are questionable because they come at a time when you get some exploitable powers. (everything but that damn invisible robot/floating thingy) and with the specific third island power you get fairly early on nothing is a threat anymore. nothing.
Infamous was by no means overhyped or overrated. its a good sandbox game. Not everyone realized they dont like sandbox games though.
Every game has tedious missions.
Every. Single. One. I adored arkham city but the redundant amount of collectibles(400 riddler trophies?, yes infamous is guilty but they are all on the map from the start and they added health and none were more difficult then others aside from the one off the map ), the tacked on feel of the other modes(i’d have taken more engaging side missions rather than fighting enemies endlessly for medals) and other characters. The ending to catwomans story being collecting loot then not even an ending cutscene, the general feel of the catwoman missions. and some of the tediousness of enter room, uh-oh stealth mission again wasn’t exactly the freshest idea either, or side mission time, expecting a hype or unique knockout and you get in a room and end up doing the same sort of take down as usual.
also after finishing the main story of arkham city, the leftovers are a bit lack luster, just like assassins creed, etc. the only game that did side missions wonderfully even after the story was over was GTA SA because there was SO much crap to do.
I had more fun with brototype, but that may be cuz it felt a little less restrained
Oh the way it works you just beat the game then just load up ng+. NG= is harder with no spidey sense. I was responding to you needing a lil more challenge you should’ve played it on hard your first go thru you would have got all the challenge you could ask for.
NG+ should give you some challenge especially some of those boss fights.
You copping part 2 when it drops? Im all in for that.
I agree. I hate how all non-niche games are becoming 3d sandbox beat em ups with active cutscenes and innovative slow motion combat. These games aren’t inherently bad (although infamous is), i just don’t think it would hurt to have more than one style of game. It’s even sucking in games that used to be good… Resident Evil, Castlevania…
Oh since Im in here any Starhawk love? Did anybody get the beta ish to work with Uncharted 3? I had UC3 on drop day did the stuff for the beta but no go. called sont they emailed me another code but still no go. I just let it go but i still wanna get the game when it comes out.
Dat intro. I was watching the later vids of the walkthrough and my god it’s musical score is so good.
Cool, then I’ll start a NG+ soon then.
games are only becoming that because gamers are demanding more out of single player experience because of the “multiplayer or die” aspect of this generation and it’s the type of game where if you do any one thing right (fight system, city, exploring) you have a solid game regardless of stories and characters or anything else done wrong.
prototypes story? nonsensical bullshit. running around and doing dumb shit? fun as hell.
Prototype was the ke$ha of gaming. you play it for fun or to have a good time but you should feel embarrassed for feeling it does anything new or revolutionary or taking it seriously.
i won’t touch your opinion but i’m curious as to why you think infamous was so inherently bad.
on that same line of thinking i think god of war was bad, prototype was bad(but fun), assassins creed was bad(the first one wasn’t even fun)
Was anyone else overall extremely disappointed with uncharted 3? I guess 2 set my hopes high, but that story and that pacing of gameplay ugh. the story was the biggest offender
play uc2 and maybe uc3(i dunno i dont have it yet)
Yeah?
Is it going to be like when somebody said, “Yo, you hated Morrowind? Try Oblivion!!!” and I was like… ok, prettier dumb shit.
Or what about when somebody said, “Yo, you hated Majora’s Mask? Try Ocarina!!!” and I was like… ok, same game.
Oh, then there was that time when this dude said, “Yo, you hated GTA3? Vice City is where it’s at!” and I was like… ok, Miami Vice version of GTA3
Should I go on, or do you have the point?
Word
That new Castlevania game sucks so hard.
Also, sorry for playing just like 2 matches and bailing… Marvel 3 really just doesn’t do it for me.
yes…
the point

nuff said, hold dat L to yo chest nugga.

Still doesn’t make me want it.
Have you tried Yakuza?
Nay. Off of this site, I’ve never heard much else about it. I don’t know anybody IRL that has played it either. I just know SRK has recommended me that game a few times… Do I need to start with 1 on the PS2?
Sandbox? Any similar games to it?
EDIT: Just looked up some stuff about it… Action RPG, with fighter elements? Sounds like I would like it already…
