MvC3 on simple mode.
No fighting games. People I hang out with generally don’t like fighting games, unless they really like Tekken. But then I don’t even need a party game for tekken friends.
Thanks for the suggestions, I really will get one or two of them and try them out this weekend. I may even borrow some controllers for 4p action.

? This Sonic CD release is considered to be the better version of Sonic CD to date…then again I never played Sonic CD before, but will pick it up on a price drop (what, I’m not a in a hurry for it >_>; and SEGA games do go on sale sometimes for decent discounts)
That’s my point tho. Sega can’t fuck it up cuz Sonic CDs not that good to begin with. The only way to go is up.

Awkward level designs, funky handling, weird design decisions (Fig 8 run looks cool but not real practical…at all) not very creative bosses. A lot of it is hype backlash. It’s not as good as a lot of people claim it to be. Sonic 2 and 3 are betting in innumerable amounts of ways.
Man that intro tho is still one of my favorite representations of Sonic. I wish Sonic Generations presented Classic Sonic with that kind of personality more then the goofy for of plush personality he has in Generations. It’s also the best hand drawn representation of Sonics Spin form. I hate Sonic X’./
Actually the handling in this release should be better…but I guess you’d need to play it to test that ^_^;.

Hmm I dunno Classic Sonic, despite looking cute and cuddly is the same personality from the Genesis games…minus the >=) face from Sonic 3 =P

To the second. I can’t 100% say for sure as I haven’t played Gen. Only watched some stuff but just stuff like him going big eyes and scanning the horizon during the grading screen is the kind of stuff i mean. In that CD intro There is a cocky assuredness to his run while still looking like he is having fun. I dunno, it’s hard to explain. He almost looks like a stuffed animal in Generations. He comes as more of a Saturday morning cartoon character. It’s not bad or anything…it’s just a preference.

There is also Risk: Factions on the PSN aswell. It has an updated and classic Risk, best part is that you can use 1 controller if you please.
Goldeneye fucking sucks. They ruined it completely.
I felt the same way when I first played the remake. So, in a bout of frustration, I went and booted up my N64 and, well… Goldeneye sucked long before they made any changes to it.
If it makes you feel any better, Perfect Dark -> Perfect Dark Zero was much, much worse. After spending a little time with the new Goldeneye, it can be fun, but it’s mostly based on nostalgia.
Huh, elsewhere I’ve heard good things about it. I never played the OG Goldeneye though.
Why does everybody like Fat Princess? I think the game is absolutely horrible. You need a good group to work together and that’s SO RARE on PSN. It’s a constant stalemate.
Bomberman is always a good time.
As far as GoldenEye goes, I’m happy with GoldenEye: Source.
Yeah, I guess I should clarify that the game can stand on its own and still be kinda fun, but… relative to what people are going to expect when looking through nostalgia-tinted glasses, it’s a bit of a letdown. But yeah, it can be fun with friends for sure. It’s all about split-screen.

Marvel Pinball is probably the best PS+ freebie ever, for me at least. Ball physics seem far more realistic than those found in Zen Pinball (speaking of which, I wish Zen could retroactively apply said physics to its older tables, ala Pinball FX2). I liked it enough that I went ahead & shelled out for the X-Men/Ghost Rider/etc expansion, even though they’ll theoretically be rendered useless once my Plus subscription runs out…though someone already brought the notion to Marvel’s attention on the PS blog.
