Finished UC3! I was hoping for a little more out of the last three or so chapters.
P.S I tried UC3 online and I am “meh” at best… any tips?

And yet Evo still reps AE.
shots fired
not in the manner of a bad 3rd person shooter
I’ve beaten everything on the collection but I’m curious about how the redone textures will look… that will determine if I buy or not…
I have Sons of Liberty but not Substance… how much is the collection priced for?
Will the MGS3: Subsistence have the O.G MSX games on it?
Wish I was there to see the DMC3 stream… I got tips for days on that one, unless you’ve already beat it…
Gonna clear off 16GB+ off my HDD to download DCUO again. See if I can get my friend to play since it’s free now.
 at the shitstorm coming from all the 'tards on the Playstation Blog. Morons should be grateful they were even able to split the cost of a fucking $10-$15 game five ways for so long. Then again, Sony deserves all the flak they receive for this. How they can implement such a gratuitous feature & not expect people to take advantage of it, then bitch & moan when it’s taken away is beyond me.
I’m sure they expect the flak, but they don’t lose that much money from doing this, but publishers did lose money the other way. When HDR came out, I bought it and DL it on 2 other peoples systems. They weren’t going to buy the game anyway, so no money lost, but I know other people split up cost or trade games.
DCUO is at 10% after 1 hour, my main PS3 is going to be disabled for the next 9 hours. Why in the fuck do they not let this game download in the background like regular downloads? I actually should have just put it on my other PS3, the one without a working disc drive. Oh well, I guess I will be playing it tomorrow sometime, and I got my friend to download it. Hopefully they fixed the voice chat as well.
Yeah, DCUO apparently takes forever, and the servers are swamped from the influx of free users. GIve it time to cool down.
And I’m not psyching out shit, I’m on chapter 18 as the “good” player while playing through story mode with my friend. I gave up on doing headshots and was relying on melee and central mass to take down enemies, I pop in U2 and I’m back to headshotting.
The only real casualties are the people with more than 2 PS3s or PSPs/Vitas. But even then, the limit is still rather generous, considering you can play games on both consoles simultaneously without being online (unless the developer decides otherwise). Other services like Steam/XBLA let you play a downloaded title on any number of systems, but require you to sign in over the Internet (in XBLA’s case only if not playing on the console that originally purchased the title) so that only one system can play said game at any given time.
This vid speaks the truth, I love it.

BullDancer: Yeah man, Metal Gear 1 and 2 will be on the disc. Peace Walker is online enabled, too. I’ll either play through MGS3 or Peace Walker first.
I’m gonna wait until next year to try out DCUO…wait for the influx to die out.
Only upcoming Capcom game I’m hyped for is Asura’s Wrath…take my monies rage man!!
The thing about video games teaching you as you play as interesting topic. Some games do it right, while others do it in a silly manner. Fortunately you can turn some game’s tutorials off in Options. I kinda do miss discovering things for myself, but more often than not, back in the day I’d got to GameFAQs or search gaming sites on hints to advance through the game. I remember printing some 20 pages off Gamewinners.com filled with hints at playing and finding stuff in FF7 XD
HINTS AT PLAYING FF7?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
dude. chill.
I would never have found Yuffie if it weren’t for the internet. Barret’s ultimate weapon comes to mind as well, there were no hints in the game to indicate you needed him in your party for it to show up.
Those are explainable, things like how to get secret characters, weapons, items etc in games…cause you dont need them to beat the game, but I thought we were talking about basic gameplay here like how to play, how to beat this boss, how to beat this level…stuff NEEDED to beat the game
And majority of people trying to get Barrets ultimate weapon would have him in their party at the time unless you were someone who played through the game constantly using different characters or were trying to get a 100% file. Basically if you used Barret in your party you shouldnt have to worry about finding it, it would come to you…if you didnt why would you look for it in the first place? (except the 2 reasons I stated)
There ya go. Though I do agree hints for beating FF7 probably isn’t necessary, there WERE people who died fighting the Guard Scorpion…not because the boss was hard but because Cloud tells the player to “attack while his tail is up”…
As for the Missing Score I only knew about it after my first playthrough, I didn’t use Barret for that part probably because I like leveling up my characters (other than Cloud) equally.
Didnt catch the finding stuff part, my bad. but Cloud says “Barret, be careful…attack while his tail is up…its gonna counter attack with laser”
had that been megaman they would of let your ass attack first to get it without saying anything lol
i think you missed the point of the story.
teach by example and don’t take your audience intelligence for granted. that was what he was going for.
but i’ve been sitting in on focus tests for years and anything you see in there would lead you to believe that idiots will do anything stupid that they possibly can. as much as developers would rather not hold people’s hands, people are dumb, and i hate them. i saw a woman in a focus test who went 4 hours without even trying to jump over a log, and ended up crying because she was so bad. it’s people like these that ruin gaming for all of us with deductive reasoning and intellect.
Finished UC3! I really enjoyed it but there’s certain areas I’m not looking forward to on crushing difficulty though. Time to hit up some multiplayer in the meantime.
