open world batman sounds beastly. i love batman but didn’t dig the demo of AA, it felt boring to me. should i still try it out?

Haven’t played it, but it basically sounds like a batman dream game imo… my favorite superhero game was Ultimate Spiderman… but it was far from perfect…
They need to redo that concept but make the world more open, better side quests, and cool unlockables…
It depends on what you didn’t like about the demo. The combat is the same. Open world , it just makes the game bigger, plus enemies respawn. In Arkham Asylum, after you killed the enemies, that was it. I think it is better than Arkham Asylum, but if you hated AA, you probably wouldn’t like AC. I love them both though.
There are other members here who got Sonic Generations instead of UC3 on launch, heck I’m waiting for KoF XIII to come out and get it along with UC3.
So can someone with U3 confirm whether or not everything offline multiplayer is lan (multiple linked ps3s rather than traditional multiple controllers + 1 ps3)-only?

I didn’t like AA. Never finished it and returned it. Yet I feel like AC is one of the best games I’ve ever purchased this gen. I don’t even like Batman or open world games, but this one does something to make it feel just so damn right.
This gives me hope.
And more impetus to de-cellophane

Dude, you still haven’t opened the fucking game lol?? Do it, unless you just plan on getting and playing the shit out of UC3 or Sonic Gen. And even then, AC would be the better sp “experience” I feel. Sonic Gen is throwback style. Like a Tupac album remastered with a few new songs. But that that they didn’t whore out this time with weak guest appearances and put-together tracks. We should all have a copy of it sometime. But until then…the City.
I wish the game never came out. I really do. But it did. And one playthrough and days later…it still beckons me. This has never happened before on any sp game on this system to where I feel fully engaged and still have a shitload that I actually WANT to do in it. Plus Nightwing today. Escrima stick tazers. Filthy horrible planned DLC. Yet can’t…contain…pockets…
I kinda feel you, man. I only planned to get MW3 this part of the year. Uncharted’s good and all, but I wasn’t a big fan of the multiplayer in 2. However, all these reviews saying it’s the best in the series have me in a spot. I thought they couldn’t top UC2’s campaign.
Is your internet any better? That way I can take away those excuses like I did your life bar last time.
They definitely topped the campaign, but Uncharted 2 was more challenging.
So, after about 30 hours total (about a year of actual time) of playing Demon’s Souls I’m finally starting to like it. I got myself some mace that heals my HP so that made me happy and made me like the game a little more. I’m trying to figure out why that is but I don’t know. Anyhow, now im driven to get better gear/weapons and figure out how to slay those dragons that I saw. I cant remember where they’re at though.
