I didn’t see this before I left.
A few things about that system. They had 2 setup, one with Gran Turismo 5 hooked to a Logitech Driving Force GT, which is the same setup I have.
Some troll asshole went in the settings and disabled the accelerate and only had reverse mapped. The broad trying to help me, was taking a long time trying to get the car off the wall. I thought she was dumb or something, after a few minutes she let me try and I figured out the controls were disabled. I went through the options and re-enabled the controls. The other headset was just playing movie trailers in 3D.
Gran Turismo reminded me why I stopped playing it, the loading is so fucking slow for every screen. The 3D in that didn’t impress me either. The one showing trailers was legit though, it really looked like you were in a huge theater by yourself and the 3D was great.
A guy came over later when I took it off and explained that you really have to set it up on your head to be comfortable, and with everybody messing with it all day, all size settings would be all over the place. The 2 biggest problems I had was after awhile it was hurting my nose, because I had it resting on my nose. He told me he had the same problem, but the rep said you set it up for your forehead, and it should never even be on your nose.
Bottom line, I’m going to have to buy it and give it a real trial at home.
This is weird. I’m like, completely less hype for Uncharted 3. Maybe it was too much MP Beta. Or maybe it’s because Arkham City is so fucking good. Pretty sure some of you remember how I was boycotting it before release for the whole DLC shit. But I won’t lie, they can have all my pockets. This is one of the best games I’ve ever played. And I’ve played a good grip of all of them. I don’t even finish games nowadays before getting rid of them. And I also hate Batman. But Arkham City is that crack. Uncharted 3 is going to have to be something more than amazing set-pieces for me to be fully into it. For some reason, I actually don’t even think it’ll get GOTY. It’s going to be hard to top what Uncharted 2 was(at that time). And to go bigger, crazier, more extreme, would probably be deemed as “trying too hard” or “having unnecessary action”. Idk. I love Uncharted. But I’m actually looking more forward to Nightwing DLC on Tuesday than UC3.

Little surprise in the beginning for me, didn’t know or hear about it. I’m not going to post any spoilers, but how do you put the tag now? I’m on Chapter 6 right. Fucking chase scene was so unintuitive, the reason why their are quicktime events put in games. Got caught running at least 10 times and had to start over. I’m just playing until my friends finish downloading Payday Heist demo, so we can reenact Heat. If Payday is good/entertaining we will all buy it, it’s only $20.
