Don’t like the dirt Arkham City is pulling. I hate the “outright planned DLC”. At least try to be slick about the shit. Especially if one of your main marketing points of the game ISN’T INCLUDED ON THE ACTUAL DISC. I’m planning to hold off or play it over someone else’s crib, but I might be a slave to the industry once more. The confirmed full lineup of villains(plus playable characters) in this game is too much. I won’t spoil anything but any Batman fan would salivate. And I’m not even a Batman fan. So you feel my pain.

Uncharted 3, KoFXIII, and Tekken Hybrid are day 1’s.

Can’t see myself buying UMvC3, and will just learn what I need to learn over dudes houses. I’m giving myself a 2 week max of competitive play for this shit before I’m unable to muster up anymore tolerance.

Yea, I’m down for the U3 riot. It’s the only thing I’m playing at home right now. If anyone’s interested I’d be down for an SRK clan too. I’d just have to commit myself to play on a consistent basis. Right now it’s like once every other day or two. But I clocked 7+ straight hours on a session some days back. My gf was pissed.

This isn’t like…get Bane for 2.99 2 months after game drops. They were plugging Catwoman since announce. That’s bad business. Furthermore, they’re making consumers purchase hella outfits. I mean…the one thing that you’d count on to be unlockable, in ANY superhero game, you have to buy it?? I have to drop dough on classic wardrobe as well as petty variations. This is some of the grimiest shit ever to me. Not even like I care about the outfits but just the fact that they’re doing it, and I do at least make it my business to sometimes try to unlock the gear in games since my personal opinion about trophies and achievements is that they’re pointless.

TRUST, soon there is going to be nothing to unlock in games, and we’re going to end up paying double the price just to get “full” games. But you all already knew this. Everyone did. I’m just so bummed out because I thought it’d be a steady process and they’d ease us into more. But fuck no. This is full-blown, “give us your pockets now!” era. Nobody can resist because they got Slim Shady Robin and you’re going to have to see him mean-mugging everytime you roll past Best Buy. Or somebody puts a “Fat Batman” run up on youtube.

Been watching some footage of Spiderman Edge of Time and does it all corridor crawls in a big factory? I remember being able to swing a big city is what made previous games (looking at you Spiderman 2) so enjoyable. What’s Spiderman if you’re just held up in a big stale looking building the entire game?

sideways is cool. platforming is a bit more floaty than i would like, but the game has alot of style. divekicking for days, though…

from what i’ve seen, it seems like its replay value will come with 100%'ing all the collectibles and using the wall -> roof system to find areas… alot of stuff to explore, which is pretty novel for a 2d-ish game.

i can’t give it a full recommendation yet because i haven’t put enough time into it and i dunno when i’m gonna put any more time into it with 2k12, ico/sotc, and batman… but i felt it was worth supporting… games like these are good for the industry, and that alone made it a first day pick up for me.

Well the 2 PS360 Spiderman games by Beenox are good if you play them for what they are, but if you want Spiderman 2, then maybe wait for next year’s Amazing Spiderman-
