That new Ace Combat game’s demo is ass!!
Came out on 360 (game is also hitting PS3, that was the system I was going to buy it for), you’re able to play on the stage that was demonstrated on that one 10 minute video thing.
You’re stuck on some railing thing more than half the time, not allow you to move anywhere on the map. There’s auto aim on EVERYTHING!!! When I take damage, my motha fuckin’ jet has health regain. MY MOTHA FUCKIN’ JET HAS HEALTH REGAIN?!?!!?!
I’m on fire, 5 seconds later I’m ok.
The music playing was awesome.
FUCK MAN, everything is making me rage.

To be fair, I was told that the demo for Modern Warefare 2 was beyond shitty and the auto aim was strong in that game as well.
Played MW2, had fun, can’t say it was a good game tho ;p
Yeah well it was more so the rail sections and restoring life that I thought was bad. Autoaim I’m less worried about cause normally games with auto aim have options to turn it off or at least lessen it.
It’s a demo guys, if anything you were playing the training stage.
…and why the fuck are people still judging a game based on the demo? Not many games give you the proper concept of the game off it’s demo.
Dude, rail sections are not something that is in a demo only. It’s a different gameplay style. I guarantee you the final game has both rail sections AND restoring life, because demos aren’t allowed to be like alpha builds dude.

regenerating health on fighter jets is pretty HILARIOUS…like what! maybe there is a realism/hardcore mode where there are no rails or regenerating health. if so there might still be hope!

yeah just saw that when I downloaded it yesterday, and I’m going to be away all weekend. So Monday and Tuesday I gotta play as much as I can.
I did. I really hope its for the PC I dont feel like playing that on a console. I did the same as the other guy, I just selected all when it asked what systems I play on/have.
I played the Ace Combat demo a week or so ago. It was pretty boring IMO but then I never really liked the Ace Combat series. It looked pretty but I thought that you would be able to fly through an entire city. Turns out most of that city is just flat and looks like one of the levels from that futuristic hover jet racing game that was on the snes.
Tizoc - Why the fuck wouldnt someone judge a game by its demo? Thats what the demo is for. You know, so you can form an opinion of a game and decide if you want to buy it or not.
Hmm what if there are modes or options to make the game play with previous/traditional AC gameplay?
I confess this’d be my first AC game, and I rather liked the gameplay…
The recovering health I still think might be for the demo only, not to mention that the stage you were playing in was more of a training stage.
Also, I was playing Might and Magic demo and in it you have ‘elite units’; in the demo I was given stags that helped me in combat but I started out with 5, and never lost any if one of them died in combat. In the full game, if a stag dies, you must recruit more from a shop.
…and the demo for Sonic Generations is more or less from an alpha build >_>;
Recovering health is not something that can just be changed on a whim, and I highly doubt they included a life restore mode in addition to a non-restore mode.
I am willing to bet money on this.
