Dragon Fantasy, can’t wait.
Does anyone else enjoy this series? I played Book 1 when it came out, and almost nonstop until I finished it - and I played it twice again since then. This one is a full-fledged game and has a platinum trophy, so I’m assuming it’s going to take more than 6-8 hours.

i wonder if ms’es reluctance to make a play at asia will drive japanese devs towards ps4 almost exclusively… right now there’s no incentive to produce for xbone if you’re a japanese developer, so unless xbox gains a huge advantage in ther territories, will it be worth the effort to port later on?

and just as retrospect, vita tv for the japanese market is perfect for them, and i don’t even feel bad about the ps4 date now. good intermediate hardware that makes a ton of sense for bringing the japanese market back to consoles and warming them up for ps4. gives vita software more utility and its cheap. pretty exciting stuff.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it did, I think it’ll get to a point that even if they’re multi-plat titles (e.g. FFXV and KH3) they would at least be PS4 exclusive in Japan because the sales would be really lop-sided.

Yakuza Ishin will have 4 player multi online and they are aiming to make the game more of a JRPG. The funny thing is Yakuza is already a JRPG for the most part. 100+ Side quests,full cities,character stat progression,equipable weapons and relics not to mention they are all customizable. I think there were 200+ pieces of weapons and armor in Y4. The only thing that is missing…hmmmm Ishin confirmed for having spells,dual & team magic? O_O

Y5 is also winning the operation rain fall poll for translation. I’m not surprised since VC3 has a fan translation going and Y5 has nothing atm.

Sega just can’t take a hint or it was all part of their plan to get assistance. Either way I’m thirsty for some **Y5 the last great game on PS3. **

Don’t worry Yakuza 5 has too many votes. VC3 lost by default but it doesn’t hurt VC fans since a fan translation is underway.

I talked about it being the last big game on ps2. But it was in a general Yakuza thread.

I could picture Y5 being a digital title just before Ishin comes out to stir hype. Kenzan will probably never hit western shores due to the whole underage sex worker thing. They don’t see that topic culturally fit for western shores which is one of the big reasons why it was never localized.

Digital Download? yeah but you might want to snag at least a 16GB if you want to reap the benefits of PSN+.

I would go 32GB or 64GB but that’s just me.

It looks even better on the HD bruv, the demo was hella good but short and the game is just 40 bones and 35 digital IIRC.
