I don’t think teams and fans necessarily like the idea of tanking but they are realistic about their chances and take the Ls for a season (or two or three…) to hopefully make a good team in the next few years.
Melo got tossed for trying to finish NYPD’s work on Thabo.
Schroder been on a rampage all month. Morphed himself into an allstar caliber PG after a slow start.
Charlotte will be a first round exit (again) while Heat get a nice lottery pick and free agent next year.

We ALL know who’s gonna be on Shaqtin’ A Fool
I could always make a trip to Little Haiti, hire a witch doctor to put voodoo on that bitch. But I figure 2016 been savage enough.

Hell nah nigga, you got’s to go. Either the witch doctor or this Death Note entry is gonna get you.
Just loss after loss, that’s what lal stands for.
Waaaay too soft defensively. It’s like once a team gets a 10 pt lead that’s it! See ya next game! No fight, no defense, nowhere to go.
The Lakers need a go to guy, they don’t have somebody that I can say “ok, he’ll give you 20pts a night” like a Wiggins or Towns. What do you do? Do you go after a Cousins? Do you trust the process? And it’s funny because they are what 3-4 games out of the playoffs. They need to shed either Dengs or Mozgov contract by the end of the season, free up some money, and start this thing over again.
If the Lakers were smart, they would pay Kareem to start doing some footwork sessions with Randle like they did for Bynum. He looks really out of control out there.
lakers just being run poorly. they didn’t need to pay deng or mozgov to begin with. asking them to shed those contracts is like having second thoughts on a full body tattoo the day after. its going to take a few laser sessions to undo that mistake.
you can’t fix being poorly run. this isn’t the lakers team that can stumble accidentally into top tier players to come play for them still. they will need to execute the basketball business side better, not just “who can they make a move for?”
at some point, you need to show competency in order for players to want to come to the team, which speaks to geo’s point: you can’t just suck for extended periods of time and just suddenly turn it around with a lucky trade or something. but with their poor decision making, trading is really the only option. and it will be for naught if they aren’t appeasing enough to keep players from leaving the team. you need to show you can run a business and a team correctly, that you can win games, and that you have a long term strategy to get better… and i don’t think lakers can prove any of that to someone worthwhile.
you need Derek Fischer as head coach and Robert Horry as assistant coach
I’ve been saying the team was poorly run for a while but I was accused of being negative. I seriously think if we would have lost our pick one of these past few years most of the people who have been defending this crap product would have realized how bad the situation is.
People seriously thought that Byron was the only issue the past couple of years, even Luke is starting to get frustrated.
They Lakers can take as many Ls as possible - just win enough to stay out of the top 3 picks.
Even when he’s gone, the Lakers still following the commander’s last orders.
maybe its just a bad run
the team is young and
all this might be a little bit of overreaction you are just coming one year out of the kobe end
give them time
though that deng contract was bad
he hasnt been worth that since chicago in 09
mosgov can be good but when he misplaces his confidence its hard as hell for him to recover.
the lakers have a young team and generally is gonna take time idk if youre a playoff team this year
since the residue of tanking is still upon you
The shimmy should only be done if A] You made a game winning shot. B] You are Antoine Walker.
