I agree not a good chance for the Cavs to repeat. GSW is way too strong.
The Hawks will sweep the GSW in the finals but otherwise GSW is unstoppable.

West hasn’t averaged better than 17.0ppg since 2012, even when 3 of those seasons he was considered to be a starter in the Pacers offense. Even Pop didn’t know how to utilize him as a reserve, and we all know that’s one of Pop’s greatest strengths–making the most out of players. Not this time, he took less money because he realizes he is declining. His only saving grace is the value you get from him at the veterans minimum, when statistically speaking Marreese Speights put up identical numbers.
People don’t need to come up with reasons as to why this team won’t be better than a team that virtually needed no improvements. The last team just went 73-9 and was one game away from consecutive championships, they have the reigning MVP and one of the best shooting backcourts we’ve ever seen. They had the deepest bench in the NBA, and for what? Because you want to add another superstar who will need to learn the offense, take shots away from the splash bros, needs the ball in his hands, and hasn’t played a single game together yet? On paper this is one of the most dangerous teams you will ever see, but until results happen reasonable logic kicks in and I truly believe this team won’t be touching 70 wins. However, I don’t think this team will care about wins in the regular season. They learned their lesson last season, now it’s championship or bust. Every team will be gunning for them, they have the biggest bulls-eye on their backs.
Simmons reminds me of Chris Webber.
I’ll give him a couple of seasons to grow into a competent defender (because hoooo boy he’s going to look lost out there on defense his rookie season if the 76ers really intend on him playing PF). He’s too physically gifted not to develop a post game, even if it’s primarily faceup.
I’d put a higher ceiling on Simmons than Webber’s
Webber had a ceiling.
It was called Tim Donaghy.
So averaging 20,10 and 5 isn’t a high ceiling?
Simmons can probably keep the number of timeouts available in his head during games, if we want to be snarky.
He’s great already he can do better than Webber’s prime for sure. That’s all I meant.
Webber’s prime is something Simmons will never reach. Not just 20-10-5, the guy was doing nearly 2 steals and nearly 2 blocks per game as well. Every person with similar career stats is in the HoF.
LET’S GO RAPTORS!!

Bosh has a death wish. This nigga just got twin sons earlier this year, he has 5 kids. And yet he’s hellbent on playing again despite his health problems.
LeBron really got into the heads of him and Wade (LOL at Dwyane calling Rondo the best pg he’s ever played with, throwing shots at Goran and the Heat).
Can’t wait until all these dudes are not in Heat headlines anymore.

Don’t get drafted by the Sixers.
Welp, Joel kept the seat warm for him.
Another Sixers’ rookie with a foot fracture.
I hope Joel can make it through the season.
