The Official Offseason 2016-17 NBA Thread: Waiting for Preseason

That shouldn’t be too hard. The Pacers are looking free as fuck right now.

All Hail DeMar DeRozan, The King in the North !!!

Right now, my top three for MVP are:

  1. Chuckbrook
  2. DeRozan
  3. Lillard

Also, Confrence predictions, who ya got making it to the dance in April?

i’m not really saying you’re wrong, (i don’t really care) but did you really have to post this up after lillard went 1-10 for 8 points against the clippers?

Seeing that that was only one bad game from him out of 11, I think he could still be top 3 in the race.

Harden is putting up 30-12 right now. He has more 15 assist games than the rest of the league combined. There is no MVP list that should not have him on it.

Frame to frame, this Bulls/Heat game is off the chain. Richardson is nuts behind the arc. Edit: Winslow just cost the Heat the game by fouling Wade.

Miami is not playing the uptempo game they were supposed to be playing this season. They will keep losing until they figure out that half court isn’t a strength.

What an ugly game. Thank god for jimmy even though he looked gassed from the last game.

kevin harlan is the best.

Darren Collison completely changes this Kings team.

Pelicans won a game, btw.

Russell looking good in the Lakers offense. He is moving the ball smoothly.

Jrue Holiday will start playing next week. Perhaps the Pelicans can begin to turn things around before their season gets out of hand.

It’s too bad Lance became a casualty.

Agree or Disagree? My vote goes to either Kwame Brown or Darko.

I say no to Oden being the biggest bust.

You have other candidates that were terrible and injuries had nothing to do with it.

Anthony Bennett-2013
Andrea Bargnani-2006
Kwame Brown-2001
Michael Olowokandi-1998
Joe Smith-1995

All these guys are number 1 overall picks.

Joe Smith ended up having a decent career …not a number one pick type of good, but at least he lasted and had a long one

A list of the biggest busts and Sam Bowie isn’t on it?

Blasphemy

Well how far down the list are we going? Picks 1-5? 1-10?

I was just using number 1’s, because that guy is usually considered the best pick in the draft.

And I know sometimes an entire draft will be bad (ex 2000 draft) or the team picking doesn’t know shit.

Joe Smith is a bust because he got taken in front of McDyess, Stackhouse, Rasheed, KG, and Mighty Mouse at pick 7.

I know KG was a risk at 5, but how do you take Joe in front of those other dudes?

Another bust that holds a special place in my heart:
“Big Country” Bryant Reeves
