Dude, we always find a way to lose and even when we fight through those ways, the refs completely screw us on several occassions.
Embiid though. He just needs to cut out the late game TOs. He’s clearly the early favorite for ROY. He’s completely unstoppable when he’s on the floor. Can’t wait until he and Jah’s minutes restrictions are lifted and Simmons comes back.
We can’t get anything for Jah though - nobody wants him for a fair price. If he doesn’t develop some type of mid-range, facing the basket game he’s gonna end up like Greg Monroe. The bright side is that it’s clear he’s been working on it.
Because their record is faux. They’ve beaten the Nets, Heat, Sixers, and Bucks. And now the Pacers. Every single one of those teams have been average or below so far.
Knew this was a loss as soon as I saw we had to play against Westbrook, but wow. I thought Spoelstra turned a corner, but I guess not. Derrick Williams still hasn’t played a single minute this season.
The Warriors are always a hot hand away from taking over the game, there was time when you would try to stop Curry and prey Klay Thompson didn’t catch fire, but that’s over with now that Durant is in the lineup. Who do you want to beat you? Durant? Curry? Thompson? They shoot the 3 at a high percentage, they have no problem cutting into huge deficits.
It looks like Harden is still working out the adjustments at the point. His stats are optimized but he’s also averaging 5 turnovers a night, 8 over the victory against the Wizards.
As for GSW, there’s still a lot to worry about. Steph hits 13 threes and they were only up 6 going into the 4th and only won by 10. Versus the Pelicans.
