They are giving McDaniels more minutes then they used to, ie he is actually seeing the court outside of garbage time and he is showing some promise. Have to worry how much time he would be getting if Beverly was able to play however, also the fact is that the Rockets are still for at least 60% or more of each game playing trash defense from the two games I have seen. You get some nice individual efforts here and there like with Ariza and moments where Nene doesn’t look like last contract guy, but the overall team still doesn’t seem able to stop people for long when Harden doesn’t play defense and he only does that for a quarter.
Anthony Davis passed MJ as the best start to an NBA season. 95 points to MJ’s 91.
