The Knicks are ranked 2nd worst and the Lakers 5th worst. Even with the massive amounts of problems that both teams have you could never convince me that the Nuggets, Wizards and Pelicans are better franchises and thats just to name a few.
Probably not much, Ingram could log in starter minutes. Zubac would get playing time if he isn’t already in the D League. I’d trust Clarkson to run the show more than Russell at this point. I’m not even sure why they have Lou Williams starting all these games, he’s a terrible defender and is undersized at the position. The Mavs tried to do this with Jason Terry a few years ago, it doesn’t work.

I kept telling people that Yi signing was pointless. He fits nowhere in Luke Waltons offense schemes, anything he can do somebody else can do better. He’s better off going back to China and dominating there again.

yi held off… probably waiting until kobe retired and he could actually play the game. and with all the youth he would have the chance to really step up.

i don’t think yi fits poorly, but yi to lakers was really two sides who wanted to hook up because of business opportunities, but they chose a coach who actually wants to play basketball as his focus instead of padding the lakers pocketbook. yi could stretch, could play d, could contribute positively… but the youth movement + the ambitious amount invested in mosgov, it just won’t give Yi what he wants: to be a star player… but the team would rather focus on development and finding itself.
