It’s because CBS shows AFC games (intra-conference and road teams), and those grayed out spots are where NFC games are happening.
Cowboys-Rams, Washington-Eagles, Vikings-Saints, and Packers-Lions are early games, and those areas are grayed out on the first map for CBS. They probably can’t show any games in those areas that would compete with the local games, which will be on FOX.
