If you take away Manziel’s first receiver, he will run. He did it a few times yesterday. If he continues to play like that, he won’t last the entire regular season.
People said the same thing about RG3. And they were right. Hopefully Gruden coaches him to stay in the pocket and make his progressions.
That would help. What also would help is if he protects himself while running.
He can’t run like he did in college. Slide sometimes and stay safe. He will have to run sometimes though. More often than nought.

I’ve got an over/under with my coworkers that Manziel starts 14 games over the course of his career. Sounds about right to me before he has a Pat White moment that relegates him to Matt Leinart status.

Kirk Cousins is once again outplaying RGIII and he will once again be on the bench, Washington clearly hates winning. I never bought into the RGIII hype, he looked like a worse Vick to me and has proven to be a huge crybaby. I do not buy into the Manziel hype either, he has all the potential to be good, I just do not think he has the mental makeup to make it.
