I don’t understand why you would want to keep everything the “same” when you consistently suck it up every year. No one wants another 4-12, 5-11, 6-10, 7-9 season. If they end up drafting a shitty QB… then you know what they should do? Blow it up again and draft another QB the next year. If that guy suck? Blow it up again…
There are plenty of QB that wasn’t 1st -5th overall pick… You know like Rodgers, Brady… etc.
They’re also throwing in the towel while they’re in one of the two weakest divisions in the entire league and also have an insanely week schedule to work with. They’re doing this in Week TWO.
There’s no excuse for that. If they’re going to firesale each year until a player steps up in the first couple of games then they should just get rid of management to someone who can actually run a football team worth a damn, or fold the team and let the NFL build an expansion team elsewhere.
Best fucking trade of the year for me, but I have Trent Richardson. I finally decided to name my team as well. I got like 17 WR on my team, shit is super stupid.
yea he has had a slow start this year, but i can see him thriving in the colts offense. catching balls out of the backfield and defenses cant stack the line since luck is a threat with fleener, hilton and Wayne.
Richardson has talent, but he’s not very instinctive and misses holes regularly. Indy needs to get him the ball in space or run quick-hitting plays where he can just put his foot in the ground and get upfield, or he may be giving the Colts the same mediocrity he gave the Browns.
Trent’s going to come in handy during those cold-ass away games at the end of the season. Assuming of course, he doesn’t get speared and/or powerbombed through a table by the Chiefs’ D on Dec. 22.
thats exactly why im saying he might thrive in their offense, cause they may call more plays that are more talor made for him. and now he has a veteran in bradshaw to help him develop as a back. I think its a win win for Trich and the colts.
Yet he still ran for 950 yards and had 13 touchdowns total in his rookie season on a garbage team. Now that teams have to account for both him AND Luck, it can push the Colts over the edge. As long as he stays healthy, he’ll be a difference-maker.
I was about to come on here and complain that bitch ass maryweather didnt get fined for trying to take out both of our backs, LAcy and Starks. Fucking faggot thats why starks knocked his ass out, tackling all recklessly. but i have just heard he is indeed getting fined, and he is really trying to appeal it…dumbass fuck.
well
im not watching them this year
the browns are beyond rebuilding
they are in infancy
lmfao im not wasting my sunday watching this shit i watched last weeks game and wasted my time in which i had to watch the manning bowl and sanfran get trounced by seattle to wash the stink off me
they essentially said they are baggin this season. hope the best for trent he deserved better the money fans have for browns support can go somewhere more useful these years
eh maybe they fix it maybe they dont but im watching good football lmfao
A) played the steelers twice
B) played the bengals twice
C) played the ravens twice
D) played on a team where your best receiver was a glorified kick returner
E) you faced 8 man fronts all day long.
This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:
So he’s not AP or Shady.
That does not mean he’s not a good running back. Unless of course, you’re arrogant enough to think he’ll continue to rush for under 4 ypc with Andrew luck.
The bolded means almost nothing. 13 touchdowns is cool, but 950 yards just means he ran a lot, and didn’t do so particularly well. this guy did even more, and he was out of a job 2 years later. One year of inefficient volume running is no indicator that he’s going to be anything special.
It doesn’t mean he’s a good running back, either. He hasn’t been anything special to date, and he many not ever be anything special. Lots of stud college running backs with physical skills flame out in the NFL.
Also  at that list. Richardson only topped 4 YPC in 5 out of 15 games last year. Two of those 5? @ Cincy and vs Baltimore. Can’t really use them as an excuse, can you? Meanwhile, he had a YPC under 3 in 7 games. So, Baltimore is why he put up 1 YPC against Indy? Cincinnatti is why he put up 2.3 YPC against Kansas City? Pittsburgh is why he put up 2.2 YPC against Buffalo? Dude, quit it. Stop trying to apply a fantasy football mentality to football.
And that “glorified kick returner” made way more big plays than Richardson did, who has two career runs over 20 yards and only 15 over 10 yards.
The only thing you said that has even a hint of legitimacy is the 8 man front thing, but as a power back, it’s kind of your job to be able to produce at an average level against 8 man fronts.
I’m not saying he can’t be good, or that he won’t be in a better situation in Indy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes a step forward with the Colts. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps running into the backs of his blockers and ends up getting fewer touches than Bradshaw by the end of the season. Stop acting like him moving to Indy is an instant recipe for success, as though none of his issues are his own fault. Dude has produced at an average level for 5 out of 17 career games. Yes, offensive line and the team around him makes a difference, but there are top backs all over the league with tough situations who are producing league average production more than 30% of the time.
